Break time is dragging to a close. I just feel like Cho and her group of slaves, Uh i mean boys were staring at me. Oh well I'm used to it by now. I check my planner and my heart actually skips a beat when I see I have Divination next.
"Wow I've never seen anyone so excited for Divination... except my grandma, what's gotten into you?"
I go to explain to her what happened between me and Neville when a bag dropped down next to me. I knew who it was by his hair. Draco Malfoy.
I have liked Draco secretly for years, I have never told anyone out of pure respect for Cho Chang.
They are on and off like a lightswitch, how is it possible to see someone so happy yet so miserable in a relationship?
"Hey Lew, let's see what lessons you've got."
"Draco, give that back to me!" At this point he's stood up holding it way out of my reach, and as a small 5 foot 2 girl, this task was merely impossible.
"Give it here Malfoy!" I didn't realise how tightly I was clinging onto him. He was laughing uncontrollably.
"No." He pouted at me and held it even further above my head.
"Please Malfoy, this isn't a good look. Well not for you anyway, you know... Cho?"
He dropped it to the floor in an instance, bent down to pick it up for me and on his way back to readjusting his posture he stopped and handed it back to me.
"You know, just because I have a girlfriend, it doesn't stop me from thinking about you?" and he strutted away- stud.
Please tell me ginny just heard that. No of course she didn't, she's too busy with Harry.
"Right, Gin. I have Divination with Trelawney, I've gotta start heading off."
"But wait- D? What was that about?!" She shouted from across the great hall, I pretended not to hear her. Afterall, some of the best moments in life are the ones you can't tell anyone about.
I enter the indie decorated room, the smell of incense drowning my lungs. I look over at Trelawney's pile of pillows because who needs a desk, am I right? A lipstick stained mug was perched perfectly on the floor, she had to be around somewhere.
"Find your names and sit. Chop Chop! No time to waste."
After searching for ages I was sat in a group of three: Me, Potter and Malfoy. Awkward.
I sat directly in between the two of them. Even more awkward. Let's just hope they don't fight.
I can't stop thinking about Neville, he's so innocent and protective but I know that deep down, he's not the one for me. Oliver is super sweet but how long can I go on being his secret? It's not fair whatsoever. Harry is out of the picture, unless Ginny doesn't want him. Ron... Well I haven't seen him yet, come to think of it I haven't seen him or granger. And Dra-
I cut my own thoughts off as Draco enters the room, Potter wouldn't be with us today as he's at practice, great... another flirting session- another secret for me to keep.
"Sweet I'm with my Lew!" He looked over at me.
"How can I be yours when you're already in love with someone else, Malfoy."
"My heart beats like gunshots for you D, you know that deep down don't ya" he winked at me. Seriously, he can't be that desperate can he? Or am I just in denial?
"Right today, seeing as the stupid owls can never deliever anything on time, we will be forgetting about cards and cups, but instead, we will be reading each others palms." She said acknowledging the entire room. I flush red, feeling sick.
