THIRD PERSON POV

Standing tall and surrounded by Grimm is Evernight Castle, Salem's home within the land of darkness. Not many people knew of Salem's existence, only people working directly for her or Ozpin do, but even fewer know about Y/N L/N, the king of Grimm.

Y/N was just relaxing in his study, reading a book, and enjoying a nice cup of coffee. The silence was ruined when Salem barged into the room, grumbling to herself before flopping down into Y/N's lap.

Y/N: "Delightful day?"

Salem: "Oh yes, most delightful, as delightful as shoving a Bepsi bottle up your ass!" She replied in a bitter tone.

Y/N: "I thought it was Pepsi?"

Salem: "It's Bepsi, because Bepsi is superior."

Y/N: "Uh huh..."

With a whine she shoves her head into his chest, making Y/N put the book down with a sigh.

Y/N: "Let me guess, Cinder and her lackeys are making things difficult for you."

Salem: "They're fucking annoying, but I can't get rid of them, I still need them for my plan!"

Y/N: "Then I'll take them out to the park or something, give you a chance to relax."

Salem's eyes lit up the moment he said that, but not for the reason Y/N was expecting.

Salem: "How about we go out instead?"

Y/N: "I thought you didn't ever want to visit any of the kingdoms, what changed?"

Salem: "Sure I don't want to be seen since it's risky but if it's to have a nice day with my husband then why not?"

Y/N: "Sure, you want to leave now or change outfits?"

Salem: "We can leave now."

With a snap of her fingers, Salem's whole body seemed to lose the black and red veins, the color of her eyes morphed from red to a pale green, as opposed to her original blue, and her skin tone lightened up a little, but only enough to make her seem like a regular human that was just a bit pale.

Y/N: "How come I never knew you could do that?" He asked perplexed.

Salem: "Because it never came up and I don't usually have a reason to ever use it, not to mention that I can't keep this up for too long as it's rather draining."

Y/N: "So this date is on a time limit, got it."

Linking her arm around Y/N's waist they both step out of their bedroom, walking towards the main entrance of the castle where they come across the others.

Y/N: "We're going to spend some time together for a few hours in one of the kingdoms, Neo will be in charge while we're gone." He says before they leave.

Everyone was just standing shocked as they watched the couple leave, especially Cinder who couldn't believe she wasn't chosen.

Cinder: "I'm not going to take orders from some little brat, especially when I'm the one who found her!!!" She fumed to herself.

???: "I wouldn't be so confident about that Cinder."

Everyone turned around, only to see that those words had been uttered by none other than Neo herself, standing there with a sinister expression, making Mercury and Emerald question if they should run.
