Ok so I just thought... what if this happened:
"So uhhh...." Classic Sans said, scratching the back of his head, trying to think of something to start a conversation. "I had to take my dad to the park yesterday."
"Wait, WHAT?" said Killer, coughing. "Why? Can't your dad do it himself?"
"Well uh... my dad's kinda a dog. It sucks." Classic grumbled.
Killer screeched. "OH MY GOD WHAT IS HIS NAME CAN I PET HIM?!"
"His name is Toby Fox, he's a good boi, and no you can't pet him or he'll bite ur hand." Classic said, sighing. "The awkward thing is... is that every time I have to get him to sign something for like legal stuff, I bring him in and nobody believes he's my dad, cuz he's a dog."
Horror poked his head through the doorway and went over to them. "Really guys? Class, you think YOU HAVE IT BAD? My only parent is an APPLE! A SOUR ONE!" Horror growled. "DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES PEOPLE HAVE TRIED TO EAT MY PARENT-APPLE!?" Horror basically screamed.
Nightmare kicked open the door, holding Dreamyboi in his tentacles. "OH YOU GUYS THINK YOU ALL HAVE IT SOOOO BAD!" he scoffed.
Nightmare stomped to the couch and sat down, arms crossed in a pouting manner. "OUR MOM WAS A TREE! DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW HEARTBREAKING IT IS TO BE FIVE YEARS OLD AND ASKING A TREE FOR A BEDTIME STORY AND ACTUALLY EXPECTING A RESPONSE?!" Nightmare screeched.
Dream blinked. "Our mom is a tree?"
Nightmare facepalmed.
