Old Flame

Clara's POV

      The King is ruthless and cold. How could he do something like this to me. I wonder if anyone in the hallway heard me. Why didn't anyone come in and stop him? Why didn't someone help me?

        I quickly put back on my dress. I walked around the room and found a wooden dresser that has ladies undergarments. Then I slid the undergarments underneath my dress.

         I walked into the room next to mine, where my brother is laying down on a bed. An old man and a young girl are wrapping his bandages.

The old man looked over at me, "You are his sister, correct?"
"Yes."
"He broke his shoulder blade."

"What!"
"Yes, it needs time to heal. I did what I could for him."

The young woman spoke up, "I gave him some medicine that will help."

"Thank you."

"He needs to rest now." He turned to the young girl, "Come now, Lizzy."

       The doctor and the young girl walked out of the room. Oliver has a small smile on his face looking at the young girl. The young girl blushed while she walked out of the room.

       Oliver quickly fell asleep after they walked out of the room. Oliver has been asleep for two days now. I watched him day and night. I never left his side. The doctor and the young girl came into the room and changed his bandages once a day.

         As the doctor and the young girl changed his bandages. I walked into my room to change into a different dress. As I walked back into Oliver's room, I stopped at the door frame. The young girl is talking and flirting with Oliver, while the doctor's back was turned.

         As I was about to separate then, King Leo put his hand on my shoulder. I jumped back from his touch. I wasn't expecting him to be behind me. I haven't seen him since he raped me.

"You can't treat him like a child, Clara."
"I know. Who does she think she is?"

I couldn't look him in the eyes. I stared at Oliver and the young girl.

"Her name is Lizzy, she's a good girl. I know her father. He has been serving me for many years."
"He's too young." I looked up at him, "He's only fifteen."
"He's considered a man."

"Maybe to you, but I raised him. It has been only me and him."
"You have to let him go sometime."

No one's POV

      As King Leo and Clara having a discussion about her younger brother. At the other side of the castle King Leo's sister, Juliet and a young man that she has had the pleasure of speaking with in years just openly standing in front of her. Blocking her way to the horses. Her favorite pastime is riding her horses.

         Logon, the man standing in front of her blocking her from her horses. In truth, Logon was the one that taught her everything she knows about horses and how to ride them.

"Can you move? You are blocking me from my riding time."
"I haven't seen you in years and this is how you treat me?"

"I have no idea what you are talking about."

She tried to push past him, he pushed her into the side of the door frame. He kissed her passionately. She tried to fight him, but it didn't help. She gave in and kiss him passionately back.

He pulled away, "Now you remember?"
"Yes, I never forgot about you but I have moved on with my life. I'm sorry. I can't do this."

"I see a ring on your finger."
"Yes, I'm married to King Luther."

"So you couldn't wait for me?"
"No. I'm sorry."

"You promised me if I was a king you were going to marry me. I'm a king now. Your brother invited me to your castle."

       King Logon wasn't always a king. He was a poor farm boy that fell madly in love with Juliet. She promised him if he would be a king she would marry him. She promised to wait for him. It's been five years since then.

        He moved away to a different kingdom and fought in every war. King Logon's kingdom is neighbors with King Victor's. He fought hard and killed everyone in his path just to be with her.          He pushed her into the wall with force. Hurting her back in the process. Then he ripped a part of her dress to show a part of her collarbone. First, he licked under her collarbone then sucked on the spot he licked, making a hickey on her neck.

He moved away from the spot, "Tell me the truth does your King Luther make you feel this way?"

          With tears in her eyes, she shook her head "No." The truth, those five years that they have been away from each other was the hardest thing she ever experienced. She wanted to run away and go find him.

         King Leo found out about their secret love. He had high hopes for his sister. He wanted more from her than her being a poor's wife. He separated them. King Leo had the power to force her into a marriage, she didn't want.

         Soon after she was married to King Luther, she fell in love with him. She promised to be fateful and to love him forever till the day she does.

"Please stop."
"Maybe I should take you right now in the shed."

He squeezed her body moving her even closer to him, "Would you like that?"
"No! I can't."

With all of her strength, she pushed him away from her, "Leave me alone!"

       She ran away from King Logon. With tears running down her face and holding her dress. So no one would see that it is ripped. She ran up the stairs and the hallways. Bumping into King Leo.

"What is wrong?"
"Get out of my way!"
