"Hello?"

A groggy voiced Spencer answered the phone. You decided to call him after having a little too much to drink.

"Can you pick me up"

"Are you drunk?"

Had it been that obvious?

You weren't planning on drinking a lot tonight, but when Penelope kept bringing over tequila shots, you couldn't say no.

"Whaaat. NO. Not me. Wrong," your words coming out more slurred than intended.

"Where are you? I thought you were with Penelope and Emily?"

"I'm at the bar on 5th. They wanted to stay and drink more."

"I'll be there in 5."

With that he hung up the phone, leaving you alone on the sidewalk.

Spencer ended up taking 30 minutes to get there. You were starting to think he fell back asleep when you saw his car pull up next to you.

Trying to stand up from your seating position on the sidewalk, you fell over. Spencer got out of the car to help you up, trying to stifle his laughs.

"Don't laugh at me. What the hell took so long?" you were trying not to laugh at the fact that you couldn't get up without wobbling.

"Sorry there was construction on the only road to get here."

"Why didn't you text me then," you asked as he helped you into the passenger seat.

"Left my phone at my apartment," he said buckling you in.

"I'm not 5. I can buckle myself," you snapped, sticking your tongue out at him.

"Seeing as you couldn't stand, I beg to differ."

The car ride was filled with silence. Not an awkward silence, more of a tired silence. His AC was blasting cold air, making you slowly drift off to sleep.

You woke up to strong, warm hands lifting you up. Spencer decided not to wake you up to walk inside, remembering what happened the last time you tried to walk.

"You smell good," you nuzzled you face into the crook of his neck.

"It's just my shampoo."

"Smells like apples. When did you become an apple?"

He giggled at your remark. "I became an apple a long time ago. I'm offended it took you this long to notice y/n," he feigned disappointment.

"Wait. My place is down one floor."

You and Spencer lived in the same apartment, making you become friends faster. You were friends with everyone on the team, but you two just clicked.

"I forgot your purse in my car and I don't feel like making this trip twice."

Setting you down, he kept a strong grip on your arms until you stabled yourself. He unlocks the door and helps you in.

Already forgetting you were at his place, you start removing your dress.

"WOAH Y/N. I'm still here." his voice cracks as his cheeks turn a deep red.

"Oh shit. Sorry. Forgot where I was," you say giggling. Wow you were a lot drunker than you thought.

"Here I'll grab you something to sleep in."

He disappeared into his bedroom. When he returned, he had a folded up shirt and pair of pajama shorts in his hands.

"Thanks Spence."

Going to his bathroom to change, you had a harder time than expected. You got the shirt on just fine, but the pants were a struggle. Trying to get you leg in the hole, you fell flat on you ass with a loud thud.

"Stupid ass mother fucking pant leg." you mumbled trying to get up.

"y/n? Are you ok?" Spencer asked opening the bathroom door.

"Maybe. I can't get these pants on." your face flushed out of embarrassment.

He chuckled walking over to you, which made you feel better. Helping you up, he put you feet through the pant holes pulling the waistband just above your knees. Luckily the shirt was long enough to cover your underwear.

He held the pants there until you grabbed them and brought them up the rest of the way.

"Did you bring me here just to get me in your pants?" you said with a sly smirk.

"You saw right through me." he laughed.

"Seriously though. How much did you drink?"

"Umm like a bajiliong. bagiglion. you know what I mean. Penny kept bringing over tequila shots that were pretty colors."

"Bajillion." He corrected you. "Those blue ones?"

"YES THOSE!" you said a little louder than intended. If truth be told, it was pretty hard to turn down those pretty blue cups of fun. Although you probably wouldn't have much fun in the morning.

"You're going to regret that in the morning," he said reading your mind. "Let's get you to bed."

"What? No. I don't wanna sleep. We should play a game like strip poker, only without the poker."

"Or we could play who can fall asleep the fastest."

"Whatever party pooper." you pouted crossing your arms.

He grabbed you by the waist, leading you to his room.

As soon as your head hit the pillow, you realized how tired you actually were.

Soon after, Spencer got into bed next to you.

Without thinking, you turned over snuggling up to him. Resting your head on his chest, you could hear his heart rate quicken. He tensed under you, but soon relaxed.

He wrapped his arms around you, bring you closer to him. One of his hands rests on you head, combing through your hair.

His heart rate made you feel safer. You felt yourself starting to drift off to sleep.

"Night Spence."

"Goodnight y/n"

His embrace tightened around you as he kissed the top of your head.
