Love and sex influence differently. Focusing on love brings about creativity, abstract thoughts, and long-term planning. Focusing on sex influences an obsession of noticing details and immediate decision making.

Moonlight slivered through the slit cabin curtains as Jimin slowly blinked awake. He shivered and reached for the quilt, only to discover that it was, once again, pulled off of him. Frustrated, he groggily stretched across the bed and grabbed the blanket to pull it back over his body. An annoyed huff startled Jimin to alertness as he remembered that he wasn't alone.
He turned and stared at Yoongi, unsure if his bedside companion was awake or still asleep. Had it been under a different circumstance--one where Jimin wasn't about to die from hypothermia--he would have admired how the moonlight framed Yoongi's still frame so elegantly. However, like the blanket, his star-struck thoughts were ripped away when Yoongi rolled himself back into it.
"Hey!" Jimin whined, grabbing the edge of the quilt and tugging on it. Yoongi stubbornly clung to his end of the material tighter. "I'm cold!"
Yoongi cracked an eye open. "You look like a muppet," he sleepily replied.
A scoff slipped past Jimin's plump lips as he sank further into the mattress and attempted to smooth his unruly hair; this wasn't how he had fantasized waking up next to Yoongi would feel. When it appeared that Yoongi wasn't going to release any slack on the blanket they had to share, Jimin stretched out his legs and pressed his cold feet to the small of Yoongi's back where his shirt had ridden up.
Yoongi shrieked and jolted away. The blanket tangled up in his limbs, coupled with his proximity to the edge of the bed, sent him tumbling to the floor. Jimin stifled a giggle when Yoongi popped his head up from the side of the bed with an aggravated scowl adorning his puffy, post-sleep-coma face.
"Keep your tiny, ice-cold feet away from me!" Yoongi growled, standing with the blanket falling over his head like a cheaply made Halloween costume.
"They're only freezing because someone wouldn't share the blanket last night!" Jimin snapped back.
Yoongi lifted the blanket from his face. "It's not very large," he stubbornly excused, though he looked apologetic.
Jimin rolled over to check the digital clock. "The morning lecture isn't for another three hours. Could you perhaps find it at the bottom of your bitter heart to share enough of the blanket with me so I can get at least two more hours of shut-eye?" He batted his eyelashes up at Yoongi with a pout. "Please?"
"Fine," Yoongi grumbled, dropping his body back onto the bed. "But only because you get unbearably whiny when you're tired, and I don't want to deal with that today."
Jimin squealed with exhausted delight as Yoongi tossed the warm blanket over him. It was after he settled down, selfishly wrapped under the covers, that he realized in exchange for his comfort Yoongi wasn't going to sleep well. He peeked over the top of the quilt and found Yoongi looking at him with a fond smile.
