By the way, all the movies' sequels are based on the Japanese version, I never watched the English dub.
And because the Japanese dub seemed better.
And especially, Whisper of the Heart.
The story will be different.
What do I mean?
If you're going to make a sequel to that movie (English), it will be when they're in high school. While if you make a sequel to the Japanese dub, it will be straight to them after 10 years of Seiji's apprenticeship.
So yeah, all of them are based on the Japanese dub, which is, the original.
And yeah, self-advertisement ......
