Y/N POV:

I woke up from what I thought was a nap but I looked around; it was dark. The moon's reflection shined through the thin curtains. I looked at the clock; it was 2 A.M. I turned beside me and Kiki was fast asleep in her cute, little pajamas. I was a little parched so I decided to go downstairs and grab me a bottle of water. I made my way downstairs and the kitchen light was dimly lit. 'Who could be up this late?' I walked into the kitchen and was met with Yu Yan. " Yu Yan?" I said. She was sitting at the kitchen counter on her phone sipping a cup of tea. "What are you doing up so late?" I asked opening the fridge and grabbing a bottle of water. I took a seat next to her.

"I should be asking you the same thing," she smirked. We both chuckled.

"I woke up from my nap, so I decided to get a drink of water," I said taking a sip of my water.

"Nap? It's 2 A.M." she giggled.

"Well, I thought I was gonna take a nap but it lasted longer than intended," I chuckled. "Why are you up? Can't sleep?" I asked. She nodded her head.

"Oh, thanks for the blanket this morning." she smiled.

"Nothing I wouldn't do for you," I nudged her on the arm. "Got a lot on your mind?" I asked. She nodded and continued sipping her tea. "You know you can tell me anything, right," I assured her. I can tell she hesitated for a little.

"No, it's okay. I think I'm gonna go back up and sleep," she set her cup in the sink and was about to walk away until I grabbed her wrist.

"I heard what you said the last night," I looked at her.

"What do you mean?" she sat back down.

"I know you like me," I looked her in the eyes. Her eyes widened. She quickly looked away.

"Yeah, as a little sister," she said. I can tell she was lying.

"No, not as a little sister," I grabbed her hand. She met my eyes. Next thing you know, she slowly leaned in and sealed her lips on mine. My eyes widened. 'Y/N, you can't, don't. do. it,' But my lips deceived me. I kissed her back. I know I really shouldn't but I couldn't help it. Her lips were so warm and soft. I quickly snapped out of it. "We can't do this," I looked away. She grabbed my face tenderly.

"Why not?" she looked into my eyes. I avoided eye contact.

"Be—because it's wrong," I said. "I don't wanna lose the sisterly bond we have," I looked down.

"Is that all I am to you?" her eyes softened. I looked at her. 'No that's not all you are to me. It's just that this is wrong. It's all wrong. I already have something with Kiki that I'm not supposed to have and now you. I can't.' I thought. "I guess I am. It's okay I already knew you had something going on with Kiki anyways. I don't even know why I bothered trying," she got up and walked away.

"Wait, Yan, I—" but she already walked upstairs and into her room. I walked upstairs and gently knocked on her door. I tried to open the door but it was locked. Great job, Y/N.

Yu Yan POV:

Why did I bother telling her how I feel when I knew I was gonna get rejected anyway? She already has something with Kiki. Why did I think she'd give me a chance? I shook my head. I ignored her knocks on the door. I crawled under my blanket and fell asleep.

A few Days Later

Y/N POV:

It was finally moving out day. Kinda sad that I had to say goodbye to the girls, but I basically see them every day anyway. "Okay guys, I'm off to my new apartment," I carried my luggage outside.
