The annoying ringing of the alarm filled the room. We had another doctor's appointment today.

Matt sat up beside me and went out to the bathroom. I still stayed in bed, being pregnant made me want to get as much sleep as I possibly could.

10 minutes later Matt walked out the bathroom all dressed and ready to go.

"Come on lazy bones, we have to go to the doctor's." I just groaned in response.

"Don't forget we are getting the sonogram today." That was enough motivation for me to get up.

I had slept in my underwear and one of Matt's old shirts. I just grabbed some sweats to put on then went to go brush my teeth.

Being pregnant allows me to not have to look my best at times. We walked out to the car and drove to the clinic.

We sat in the waiting room waiting for our names to be called. Matt grabbed my hand and interlocked our hands over the arm rest.

"Ms. Devereux?" A nurse came in calling out my name.

We both got up excited to be able to see our little baby for the first time. We followed her into one of the rooms.

"Just sit on the bench and wait for Dr. Richardson to come." She instructed. scurrying out the room, she closed the door behind her.

I sat on the examination bench thing while Matt stood next to me. The doctor came in shortly after.

"Okay Ms. Devereux, you ready to begin?"

"Yeah."

"Okay lift up your shirt please." I did as he said so. He grabbed a tube of gel to apply to my belly.

"I warn you it might be a little cold." He rubbed it on my baby bump that was beginning to show.

"Okay let's see what we have here." We all looked at the screen. At first it seemed like nothing was there, but we soon started to see a head.

"Okay everything looks good so far." He started pointing out some features of the baby on the screen. I looked over at Matt and he grabbed my hand smiling down at me before looking up at the screen again.

"Oh wait, what do we have here?" That made me a bit nervous about what was wrong with our baby.

"What's wrong?" Matt asked, worry was written all over his face.

"It seems as though there are two babies." Matt and I looked at each other.

"Two? As in twins?" I asked.

"Yep see there." He pointed to two parts of the screen. There was a head at both of those spots.

"They both seem to be healthy thou- wait a second there might be more there."
