"You're pregnant. 2 weeks along to be exact." The doctor announced.

A huge smile broke out on my face. I looked over and saw that Matt had the same look I did.

"Because of this news you will have to come in every few months so that we can track the baby's growth. You guys could go now if you would like." Matt and I left and got into our car.

I was happy that we were having a baby but now I was wondering how we were going to tell everybody the news.

Our friends will probably be excited for us but our families are a different conversation. My mom and dad are defiantly going to freak out, Matt's probably will as well.

"What are we going to tell our parents?" Matt asked as we pulled into our driveway.

"I was thinking we should tell them sooner or later and they should be the first to hear. If they were to hear it from somewhere else, their reaction would be even worse."

"I was thinking the same thing. Should we tell them today?"

"Yeah. I was thinking we could FaceTime them so it wouldn't be as bad as telling them over the phone." Once we were in the house, we both sat on the couch as I pulled out my phone first tell my parents.

"Here goes nothing." I clicked on their name. The ringing began and I became even more nervous.

"Hello?" Of course my mom had to pick it up.

"Um Mom, there's something we have to tell you."

"What is it?"

"Could you maybe call Dad in and you might want to sit down."

"Anthony!! You're daughter wants you in here!" My dad soon came into frame along with my mom.

"Um...well I don't know how to say this." Both my parents looked at me through the camera, waiting

"Do you want me to say it?" Matt asked as I was at a loss of words at the moment.

"No, I should do it."

"Would someone please tell us already. You're getting me worried."

"Well....the thing is....I'm pregnant." it was quiet, I actually thought the screen had froze from how quiet and still my parents were. I looked expectantly at the screen waiting to see who would talk first.

"What?!" Looks like my dad is the first one to speak again.

"Did I hear you correctly, did you just say you were pregnant?" Mom seemed to unfreeze as well.

"Yes." I looked down waiting to hear more of what they had to say.

"You did this to my daughter. You ruined her life. How can she be pregnant at 19." Dad looked straight at Matt.

"Dad don't just blame him, it takes two to make a baby."

"Yeah, make a baby at an appropriate age. Not at 19."

"Well it wasn't like we planned it we are as surprised as you are."

"I just can't believe this." My mom started running her hands through her hair.

"If you are keeping it, you're going to have to take a whole lot more responsibility. You know what, you're moving back home. I need you closer to me so I can help you out."

"I have no intentions of moving back there. We will be able to do it and face any problems along the way. If you want to come visit you can, but we are staying in L.A."

"I'm most defiantly going to come out there every once in awhile. If you guys are having this baby then you need as much help as you can get. How far along are you?"

"Two weeks." My dad was in the background still muttering 'I can't believe this.'

"Ugh this was so irresponsible of you guys. I still can't believe. I'm going to have to go before your father breaks." With that she ended the call.

"Well they took it exactly how I thought they would."

"Now onto my parents." Matt pulled out his phone to FaceTime them as well.

"Yes sweetie." His mom answered once the call went through.

"Is Dad next to you? If so can you pull him into the frame too."

"Mike come over here."

"Um I have something to tell the both of you. Uhhh Cece's pregnant." Again another frozen parent screen.

"Mom? Dad?"

"I'm disappointed that it happened so young but I'm kinda happy that we're gonna have a grand baby. We're gonna now sweetie though because we need more time to think about all this."
The call ended and Matt and I sat back.

Now onto the friends.
"How should we tell them?" Matt asked.

"I dunno. Should we just call people?"

"Might as well." The rest of our night consisted of calling different people.

There were mixed reactions. Some of our older friends were telling us that we should have been more safe yet still supportive. Some of our same aged friends said things like it would be weird to see us as parents but their still happy for us. Luckily we didn't get any reactions that were too downgrading.

"Ugh. At least that over." I said laying on the couch after the final call.

"Well at least now it's all over."

"Yep"
