With the news that we were having triplets, we defiantly need more space. We were originally going to move once the baby needed their own room, but our small one bedroom apartment wasn't going to cut it.
After coming home from the doctor, Matt and I started looking into some affordable housing. After all, we were just 19, there defiantly was going to de a budget.
As I was looking through some real estate sites for two bedroom places, my phone started ringing. I looked down to see the caller ID was my mom. She always had a knack for timing.
"Hey mom."
"I wanted to let you guys know that I booked a flight for two weeks from now."
"By then I may need to text you a new address."
"What's wrong with what you have now, the baby can just sleep in your room."
"Well it turns out it's actually going to be triplets."
"TRIPLETS!!!!" I pulled the phone away from my ear. In the background, I could hear my dad.
"Why are you talking about triplets?" He said.
"Matthew and Cece are having triplets." My mother replied.
"I'm gonna kill that Matthew next time I see him." My dad said in anger. It seemed as though he walked away because I couldn't hear anything afterwards.
"That just adds more to the situation. I'll help out as much as I can while I'm up there."
"Thanks mom." I said before she hung up.
I walked into the living room where Matt was laying across the couch. He moved his legs to let me sit down, then put his legs Barack down on my lap.
"Well it's official. My dad's gonna kill you." Matt looked up from the tv.
"Why? Because it's gonna be triplets?"
"Yep."
"Well I kind of saw it coming." He said with a shrug. For a few more hours, we just sat and watched tv until my stomach started to grumble.
"Babe~, can you get me some food. The babies are hungry." I whined to Matt.
"Well what do you want?"
"I dunno, maybe in and out."
"If the babies are just soooo hungry, I'll go get you in and out." He said as he sat up and walked over to his shoes.
"THANKS, LOVE YOU!" I shouted out as he walked out the door. While waiting for Matt I continued looking at different available houses.
I was actually able to find a two bedroom place that was in our price range. I can't wait till Matt gets back home to show him.
Soon after Matt walked in with my burger and fries.
"Matt looked at what I found." I said following him into the kitchen.
"What is it? Did you find a place?" He asked pulling things out of the to go bag.
"Yep." I said smiling, putting my phone in front of him. He quietly flipped through the different photos.
"This is a nice place and in out price range. Let's go for it."
One week later-
Today was moving day.
We packed everything needed through out the week and all that was left was for the movers to grab everything and out it into the truck.
"I can't wait till we get to the new house." Matt commented as he grabbed one of the last boxes near the couch. He walked towards the door as I followed.
"Well that's everything, let's start heading to the new house." I said locking the door of our old apartment.
Matt and I drove the car behind the moving truck, on our way to the new place.
Once we drove into the parking lot. The movers began unloading the truck as Matt and I stepped out of the car. We walked over to the front yard, facing the front of the house.
"Well here it is. The place where we'll be raising our three little angels." Matt said, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Yep here it is."
