CHAPTER 18: bloody hunter

You wake up about 2 and a half ours later, thankfully your headache was gone, and you were just hungry. You get out of bed, and get fully dressed. It was about 2 in the afternoon, so everyone should be out and about. "I wonder if Al is back.." you think to yourself.

You walk to your door to open it, but before you can even reach for the door handle you hear a loud thud right in front of your door. You quickly open your door to investigate. You open it to see a bloody Alastor on his hands and knees laying on the floor. "ALASTOR!" You say in a panic. He stands up slowly "I-i'm alright darling, just a scrape" he says laughing. You rap his arm around your shoulder and take him to his room.

"What happened to you? why are you covered in blood!?" You sit him on his bed and help him take of his shirt. Once you remove his shirt you see a stab wound. You go to bandage the wound, but as soon as you get back with bandages the wound is almost completely gone. "wha-" You stutter out of amazement. He stands up and wipes himself off with a nearby towel. "B-but you were just covered in blood-" he sets the towel down after cleaning himself off. "It wasn't my blood dear" you look at him confused. "Well, whose is it?" He does a deep sigh, like he didn't want to answer. "Human.." he says with a very serious tone. "How- how would you get human blood all over you?" he sits in a chair and crosses his legs. "I hunt..in the living world, I crave human flesh" You take a moment to think about what he said.

You sit on his bed after a few minutes pass, "Why do you crave human flesh? how do you even get it?" you question him. "It's a long story darling,-" he says but you interrupt him "Well we have all day."

Alastor begins to explain how he was a cannibal in his lifetime, and so he still craves the taste of human flesh, even after death. "Well, how do you get human flesh? there are definitely no humans here in hell." He stands up and begins to button up his shirt and says "Portals" you look at him confused "Portals? what portals?"

He finishes getting dressed into clean clothes. He then walks over to you and grabs your wrist. "I'll just show you." He immediately opens a person sized portal and starts to pull you into it. "W-Wait! what are you doing!?" you say in a panic.
