Chapter 6

"I'm bored," Cheryl said.

We were stuck in a van on the Highgrave border with the most unruly guy ever. She had brought the club owner Mr. Josten who had owned Jezebel's. He had struck up a friendship with Cheryl. It was weird to say the least. I wondered why she had survived this long.

Right now, we were observing the date between Mikayla and the deity herself. I had to agree with Cheryl, this was boring. However, there was nothing else to do. That was until we heard the sounds of crab pincers. What was making that racket? I opened the door to find two giant crabs.

"We have complaints!" one crab said.

This was definitely a weird week, there was no denying it. The crabs droned about rice pudding until they mentioned something interesting.

"Did you say something about a gagged woman?" I asked the crabs.

"Yeah, what about it?" one crab said.

"Can we go back to talking about rice pudding?" the other one said.

I made them explain what they saw. If they were right, we needed to save Lana Winters. We bolted out of the van. However, we forgot something important...
