Micah's pov

Ah yes. Temper tantrums. A classic staple of children.

And apparently your seventeen year old boyfriend.

"I don't understand! It's just fucking pancakes! How hard can it goddamned be!?" I watched amusement as he, once more, tossed a burnt pancake onto the plate.

"You'll get it."

"That's the sixth one!" He threw the spatula onto the counter and hid his face in his hands.

"Are You done trying?" I had a gentle smile on my face as I tilted my head, waiting for a response.

"No! I got it." My smile turned to a frown as he moved his hands, wiping at his face. "I can figure it out." He sniffled and I moved closer to him.

"Awh, Honey, C'mere." I pulled him closer to me and wiped the tears from his face. "It's Okay. I promise it is. No need to get upset, alright?"

"B-but I can get it-" he tried to pull away from me but I quickly tugged him back, cupping his face in my hands.

"Hey, I'll help you, okay? It's just pancakes." I gently rubbed his cheeks with my thumbs and he nodded, sniffling.

"M'sorry. I'm sorry, I'll do-"

"Don't even finish that sentence. Listen to me, Titus." He looked at me with wide eyes and I nuzzled my nose to his. "He's not here anymore, My love. You're safe here, okay? You never have to do better for me, you hear me?" He nodded and I wiped the rest of his tears away.

"Okay."

"Now let's make some badass pancakes." He finally cracked a smile, which I happily returned. After a quick kiss and quiet 'I love yous' I grabbed the bowl of batter and poured some in the pan.

Grabbing the spatula, I allowed Titus to grip it first before wrapping my hand around his and standing behind him.

"See those bubbles? When those show up and the edges look cooked, you flip it." I helped him slide the spatula under it and flipped it, hearing a small exited gasp.

"Its not burnt!" He laughed (almost a giggle, but he would deny that to no end) and looked back at me with a smile.

"I see that. Want me to keep helping you?" He shook his head.

"No. I Think I got it, but you standing behind me isn't so bad." Smiling, I let my hands fall to his hips and my chin to his shoulder.

"Well this is oddly domestic." We both turned our heads to look at Kai, hands on her hips and head tilted to the side.

"Oh Yeah? Well I don't care, so shut it." Titus snorted as he flipped the pancake, getting exited once more. My sister simply placed a hand over her heart.

"You wound me. Anyways, what were you guys even doing last night? You were giggling like idiots." She hoisted herself up on the counter, hoodie hiding her now visible bump.

I snickered, thinking back to the comedy show we had watched practically all night, cackling at every joke. "Well, you see, when a mommy and a daddy love each other-"

Niko chose that moment to walk into the room, grabbing an apple from the fridge. "Guys, I don't need a sex ed class outside of school."

"Oh hush with you and your voice cracks."

"My voice cracks? Oh so we aren't even gonna talk about Titus' voice after you guys-" I held my hand out, my other staying on my boyfriend's waist.

"Okay baby face, shut up."

"Pomeranian."

"Adopted."

"Gay."

"What?" I scrunched my nose at him as he took a bite of his apple.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I thought we were stating things we already very obviously knew?" He sent me a sly smirk and I shoved his forehead.

"Oh, go polish your crocs or something!" He gasped, holding a hand to his chest in mock offense.

"Hey, my crocs are amazing! You're just jealous!"

"Of bright red, rubber shoes? Yeah, no." Scoffing, I turned back to holding Titus, pressing a kiss to the back of his neck.

"Yeah well-"

"Oh my god, both of you shut the fuck up. It's too damn early on a Saturday morning for this shit." I chuckled as Pop went straight to the coffee maker, smacking Kai's arm gently so she'd get off the counter.

"But he insulted my crocs!" Dad gasped as he grabbed a box of cereal from the shelf.

"No! Not the crocs! Anything but those!"

"Oh my God, Eiji, if you don't shut up about the stupid rubber shoes right now, I will go feral." Pop grabbed a coffee mug and rubbed his eyes.

"They're just shoes, Papa." Niko raised a brow.

"Yeah, extremely unfashionable ones that need to burn in the pitts of hell."

I sighed and turned the stove off as Titus finished with pancakes, only a few casualties out of his batch. Taking the plate to the table, I set it down and sat next to Titus, who was in front of Kai. The other three were still bickering.

We all dug in, me and my sister with our hands, not bothering to use forks since we were out of syrup anyways. Titus -the sweet thing- still used a fork.

"So what are Saturday plans? Park, shopping for food, anything other than cooping ourselves in the house?" I looked up at the two adults and dad nodded.

"We do need groceries. So we'll all go today." Rolling my eyes, I groaned, along with Kai.

"Yay. Chaos." With a chuckle, I bit into a pancake I was holding.

Everyone eventually sat at the table, slowly working their breakfasts down. It was quiet until Pop caught Titus' attention.

"Have You been crying buddy?" He looked to the table and I placed a hand on his knee under it.

"There was a small breakdown this morning, but it's okay now. We got it under control." I spoke for him and he nodded along, picking at his food.

"Alright then. As long as everything's okay." He smiled softly before going back to his food.

The rest of breakfast was peaceful. The calm before the storm.

The storm being grocery shopping.

Okay, actually, I haven't done any of my schoolwork today and I wrote this in two hours. It's 11:15 here and I'm not tired whatsoever.

Also, out of curiosity, can you guys just assume stuff about me? Anything. I don't care if its mean or nice, just assume. Like... Right here? ----->
