Micah's pov"You're sure you wanna ask him?"
"I am like, a hundred and fifty percent sure I want to." I sat, my hands on the table as I talked to Pops about mine and Titus' upcoming anniversary. Of course, his birthday was today, so that would be celebrated first.
"You know It's a big commitment right? And there is a chance he could say no." Pops crossed his arms before happily accepting the coffee being handed to him by his husband.
"Yes, I know. I've thought about it a lot. And at least we've been together longer than you two were." I gestured to my parents and Pops playfully smacked my hand back down to the table. I laughed and placed it in my lap, more serious now. "I know he could say no, but I'm pretty positive he's not going to." Dad looked at Pops and smiled.
"Well, I say we get the boy a ring, Katsuki." Pops rolled his eyes before nodding.
"Ok, sure. You can ask him." He stood from his seat and the oven beeped with breakfast ready. I practically jumped from my chair in excitement.
I was gonna ask Titus to Marry me on our anniversary!
I calmed down before heading upstairs, checking on a sleeping Niko before climbing into bed with my boyfriend, curling around him protectively.
"Where'd You go?" Great, he awake. Well, more like half- awake.
"I went to see if they needed any help with breakfast. It was almost done anyways." I kissed the back of his head and felt his fingers intertwine with mine on his chest.
"Ok. Love you." I smiled and nibbled at the back of his neck, causing him to groan in annoyance and smack me away. I laughed before sitting up on my elbow and leaning over his body to place a kiss on his temple.
"I love you too, Sweetheart. And happy birthday, My love." I rolled him onto his back and kissed his nose, cheeks and forehead before finally placing one on his lips.
"It is my birthday, isn't it?" He smiled and I nodded quickly, giving him more kisses all over his face until he was giggling for me to stop.
"Come on! Get up! Your favorite breakfast is being made, and I'm taking you to lunch later for you to then come home to cake, ice cream and presents." He smiled and sat up, rubbing his eyes.
"Really?" I kissed his cheek and nodded.
"Really. And you deserve every bit of it, Baby." He smiled and wrapped his arms around my neck, holding me as I swayed us back and forth. We were called for breakfast and I grabbed a shirt, tossing it to him before exiting our room and walking to Niko's. I sat on the edge of their bed and rubbed their back gently.
"Niko. Come on, Let's go eat some breakfast, Kiddo." They stirred and I smiled when blue eyes met mine. "Good morning." They stretched and I grabbed their three bracelets out for them to choose from.
Niko looked them over before snapping the grey one, and the green one on his wrist with a shrug. Oftentimes, in the morning, they would wear whichever two they thought they might feel like until they knew. Until then, we'd alternate pronouns between the two colors.
I put the purple one back on his nightstand and kissed the side of his head gently. "Breakfast is cinnamon rolls so you better be downstairs before Titus eats all of them." He laughed and nodded before sitting up, fixing his hair.
I left their room and knocked on Kai's before peeking my head in when I didn't get an answer. She was sitting on her bed, hands on her bump and zoned out.
"Kai?" She looked at me and smiled. "You okay?" As she nodded, she adjusted herself to stand.
"Yeah, I'm just 28 weeks pregnant and barely got any sleep last night. I swear I should name this kid Taz, for little Tasmanian devil. They were moving and kicking all night." She laughed and I walked over, poking her stomach lightly.
"You be nice to mommy or uncle Micah will have to tickle you later. Understand me?" It was silent until there was a little kick where I had poked. Me and Kai both laughed before I was pulling her out of bed and helping her down the stairs.
Everyone was sitting at the table and I glanced to Niko's wrist, seeing he only had the green bracelet on. That was quicker than usual. He must've been pretty sure. I pushed Kai's chair in when she was sat down and sat in my own, smiling.
"You're happy." I snickered and looked to Niko before shrugging.
"It's my boyfriend's birthday, my little brother is getting better at figuring out how he feels, and I got to talk to my niece or nephew! What's there not to be happy about?" Multiple pairs of eyes rolled and I held my hands out.
"What?" No one said anything as plates we're handed out and we dug in, smiles and laughs going around the table.
Eventually, it was time to clean up, and everyone took part in helping. Except Kai. I made her go sit down and did her part. Everyone crowded in the living room to play a game of Titus' choice and of course, he chose connect four. Because he can beat literally anybody in connect four.
After an hour of losses, we decided to play candy land, someone else actually winning this time. It soon became lunch time and me and Titus waved goodbye before driving off.
"Where are we going?" He played with my hand on the center console as I drove with the other.
"You'll see." He thought for a moment before humming.
"Have I been there?"
"Nope."
"Have You?"
"Many times." He nodded and looked out the window as we pulled into the parking lot of Michi cafe. "Ta da!"
"What's this place? It looks really cute." He smiled as I grabbed his hand and placed a kiss on it.
"It's my grandmother's cafe. And she's handing it down to Kai when she gets too old to run it. But I think that'll be a while. She raised Pops. She's a strong ass old woman." He laughed and we both stepped out.
We had just ordered our food and where talking when I felt a foot creep up my leg. I pushed it away playfully but it only returned, Titus acting oblivious to the whole thing.
That little bastard.
