I toke Blaze our beforehand so that task was out of the way. I put some food in his bowls and put his favorite toy into his cage. He was still getting cage trained. D had already left for some business so I was home alone. I decided to eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast and watched some cartoon until it was time for me to leave home and go to school. I looked at the clock and it was currently 8:00 so I had 20 mins until school started. I grabbed my keys and hoped in the car. Considering it was June we didn't really do anything. AP exams and state test we out of the way now people were getting ready to summer break and graduation. Also it's my birthday week . I settled for a ABC party . Makayla would not let me help with planning and getting things together at all. Nor did D or Zay. I just hope everything goes well. Bye this time I pulled up at school and it was the same as usually. Guys with their pants sagging and girls just asking to be dress coded by wearing more revealing clothing since it's hot in this Georgia heat. Another thing is, I graduate this week and I'm at the top of my class so that means I'm valedictorian. That's a big responsibility and I've been working all week in my speech. I shake more than a wet cat when practicing it on D. I make my way over to my locker and grab a couple textbooks that I have to return to the library. "Aaliyah can I talk to you" someone asked I was expecting it to be Kayla but boy was I wrong. It was Jamie. "What the hell do you want?" I asked "Look I don't wanna tell you out here so can we talk in the girls bathroom?" she asked me with pleading eyes "I-I don't know. You really sneaking and I don't have time for your bullshit" I said in a serious tone "I'm not bullshitting, please" She said sincerely this time "I guess so" I sighed We made our way to the bathroom and I placed the textbooks on the counter. I really need you to watch Janine next Friday" Jamie finally got out "What's wrong with your mama" I asked furrowing my eyebrows "Mama went back to-" she stopped because some girl came into the bathroom "She went back to her old ways" she whispered "Oh my god" I said covering my mouth I knew that Jamie's mother used to be on drugs but she has stopped because of my mom. I really need your help" she said crying Well I am a child of god. And Jesus helped people and died for our sins, so watching Janine is like a good deed.
