"Are you going to pay for that? What are you hiding?" He said, gesturing to my right arm hiding the beer.
My eyes snapped up to meet his and the cashier, glaring at me. There was no one else in the store, making it eerily quiet. They continued to stare, waiting for an answer before the kid who looked around my age took a step in my direction. I stumbled backward, before turning around and bolting out of the store. I only ran a few feet, before I heard the door open again. While still running, I glanced behind me to see the boy chasing me. My eyes widened, as I broke into a full-on sprint. He was gaining on me. I can't lead him back home. Sir would kill me for sure! I kept running even after I passed my house, but he kept up! I was starting to lose my breath, still exhausted from earlier, and started to slow down. I could feel the fear building up inside me, as I quickly turned right. I kept running down the dark street until I had made it all the way to my school. Would it still be open? I contemplated. Not thinking straight, I ran up to the building and yanked on the doors. They wouldn't budge. I turned around, and he was only about ten feet away from me and I panicked. I ran all the way back to my house and got to the front door. I pulled out my key and inserted it. I was about to turn the key when a pair of large hands grabbed my shoulders. I let out a mix between a yelp and a squeal when he spun me around.
"I said, are you going to pay for that?" He questioned with a scowl on his face.
