Flashback

I was roughly carried over to the car, thrashing and screaming, as the large middle-aged man threw me into the trunk. He slammed it shut, but not before screaming a few profanities and slapping me a few times. I sobbed in the trunk of the car, for what felt like hours, before it came to an abrupt stop, slamming me into the wall. I screamed at the top of my lungs and shouted until I started losing my voice. I sobbed for a bit more until the trunk popped open. The man was staring at me, with a malicious grin on his face. He grabbed me roughly and yanked me from the trunk.

I screamed and shouted but to no avail. We were in the middle of nowhere. No one was anywhere near us. Nothing but thick forest surrounded us in every direction. All except the small cabin in front of the beaten-down car. Any other eleven-year-old would've been scared out of their minds, but this was a normal occurrence for me. Mother and Father do this to me a lot. Every break from school they ship me to a new person's house to be tortured. They get paid for it, so they think that's more important than my safety.

The man started dragging me towards the cabin not showing any remorse. However, I stayed persistent, screaming, and kicking. He dragged me inside and once there he threw me to the floor. I looked around me to see it was just one big room. There were chains hanging from the ceiling, as well as a dim light. He started approaching me with a rope, as well as a knife.

Current:

I opened my eyes, just to see that I was still on his back. I was still thrashing and crying, but he didn't care. He just waltzed down the street like this was normal. That unnerved me. I just sobbed and sobbed, the entire way back to the store. We got there, and he walked in with me still on his shoulder! This guy is psycho. He kept walking once inside and brought me into the back room. He took me to the break room and dropped me on the sofa. He then plopped down on the chair across from me.

"You're really light, you know." He said with nonchalance. I quickly jumped up. And ran to the door to get away, but he was right behind me. He snagged my arm and yanked me back. I gasped, as he pushed me back onto the sofa. I was still hysterically crying, as he plopped down next to me. I immediately scooted as far away from him as possible. He just sat there for a minute, silently looking at me, while deep in thought. I was getting really uncomfortable and tried standing up again. This time, he grabbed my wrist and yanked me back. I stumbled and landed on his lap. I yelped and fell off of him. When I landed, I hit my head on a coffee table, with a loud thump. My vision started to go in and out of focus, for the second time today, until everything went dark.
