I woke up to a shrill, high pitch beeping. I abruptly sat up and looked around me. I was on a couch, in an unfamiliar room. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and looked down at myself. Wait a minute... Who changed me? I thought to myself with wide eyes. I was wearing only a large T-shirt, and that covered some of my thighs. I looked up, as I heard a door open, and the guy from last night walked out! I immediately scooted as far away from him as I could, while still staying on the couch.

"You were pretty beaten up back there, so I hope you don't mind, but I helped with most of your injuries." I looked down and was covered with band-aids literally everywhere. I looked back up at him, as he came over and sat next to me on the couch. There's another seat, why did he have to sit there? I questioned in my head. I shifted uncomfortably in my seat and looked down at my hands that were folded in my lap. "Why did you steal it?" He asked. My eyes widened at the question, but I didn't dare look up. I just sat there silent. I abruptly stood up, and ran to the door he walked in through, I ran through it, and there were three other doors to choose from. I picked the middle one and ran straight through. It was the bathroom. I turned around, and he was walking towards the door frame. I quickly slammed the door shut and locked it in his face. He ran right into it, with a thump. I heard him curse under his breath before knocking on the door.

"What are you doing? Come out, you need to have breakfast." He said through the door. I just stayed silent. "Don't make me go grab the key," He threatened, with a challenging voice. I was still silent. "Fine." He said, and I heard him walk away. While he's gone, I can look for the front door, and get out! I tiptoed over to the door, and slowly unlocked it. I opened it a crack, and he was still standing right there. I gasped, as he yanked the door all the way open. Then, he held it open with his foot, as he grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of the bathroom. As he pulled me out, I saw the front door to my left. I squirmed, but he wouldn't let go.

"W-where are my clothes?" I yelled, but nothing came out. I lost my voice from all the crying yesterday. The only sound that had managed to make it out, was a strained squeak.

"What was that?" He asked. "Did you say something?" He kept walking, without looking back, but expected an answer.

I tried again, but only got two words of my question out. We were back at the couch by now, and he pushed me back onto it. Then, he sat down next to me, again, and looked at me with a questioning look on his face. "Your clothes? I put them in the washing machine for you."

Then, realization hit. "Did you change me?" I squeaked out. He vigorously shook his head 'no'.

"No, my mom did before she dropped my brother off at school and went to work." He said. My eyes widened, before I jumped up again, and ran for the front door I saw earlier. I got there, unlocked it, and ran outside barefoot. I ran down the street, but I was a lot slower without my shoes on. "Wait up!" He screamed from behind me. I glanced back, and he was chasing me yet again. I kept running and recognized the area. It was pretty close to the store from last night. I ran for a little bit longer, before passing the store. I glanced behind me again, and he was still chasing me! I ran all the way back to my house and saw my key was still in the door. Relieved, I ran up to it and opened the door. I snatched my key and ran inside. I turned around and swiftly locked the door behind me. I have to get ready for school! I thought to myself, but not even two seconds later, there was a knock at the door. I spun around, and got on my tiptoes, to look outside through the peephole. He was standing right there! I quickly ran away from the door, and towards the stairs, only to collide with Ma'am.
