The Awakening

Blackmore's POV:

"well,  isn't this a cute sight? " he said as he watched the two hang onto each other "you always said I was the only one, princess? I guess you found yourself a replacement,  and, from the looks of it, he can't even protect you properly." he said as he stood and walked into the light "Your leg, arm, and ribs are all broken. Now,  why is that princess? Because this pathetic excuse for a man couldn't protect you? " "B....Blackmore...? " she questioned in a small voice

(princess) Ashley's POV:

"B....Blackmore...? " she questioned in a small voice,  clinging tightly to Ashley, not willing to let go. "He's not the reason I'm hurt. I was reckless. He's a great man and, unlike you,  Blackmore, he sees me as more than just a little girl." she snapped back at him,  resting her head on her man's chest softly and smiling.

Ashley's POV:

Seeing her snap scared him a bit,  but it turned him on a little,  seeing how sassy she could be. He bit his lip softly and wrapped his arms around her, placing his head on top of hers. The man she had called 'Blackmore'was grinning and he looked at them "if he is such a great man, let him fight me. Prove to me that you can protect my princess, lover boy. Unless,  of coarse, you're scared." the man snarled, and he felt her grip on his shirt tighten and he lightly kissed her head "I'll fight you. But when you lose, you have to leave MY princess and I alone." he replied with a smirk, picking her up and setting her on the ground next to him.  "A... Ashy, please. I don't want you to fight... I don't care about him, he can say whatever he wants. I want you. I want you to be safe. I need you,  Ashy. Please.." she begged softly but he just looked back at her "don't you worry your pretty little mind, I'll be just fine. This will be over with soon enough." he said as he walked back to her, putting his jacket around her shoulders, kissing her forehead

(princess) Ashley's POV:

'Please don't fight,  Ashy. Please. I don't want to lose you. I can't lose you. The thought makes my heart hurt.' she thought to herself and tears streamed down her pale face. She watched helplessly as Ashley and Blackmore fought, Ashley losing badly. Seeing this,  her breathing picked up and more tears made there way down her face. One of them splattered on the necklace and it started to glow as she shouted "Stop it!! ". Blackmore was thrown backwards from the power and several of the F.E.A.R. soldiers who came to see what was happening disintegrated, due to the large light. By this time,  her eyes were glowing and she couldn't stop what was happening. Ashley made his way over and held her close to his chest. Her eyes closed and the necklace stopped glowing, her now unconscious in his arms.

William control's POV:

"Her power is even greater than her mother's and far greater than ever thought. Triggered by seeing him get hurt. We just need to teach her to harvest it and we can use it against the Wild Ones and crush this rebellion once and for all. This is most definitely the time of F.E.A.R.

(Princess) Ember's POV:

"Oh, Ashley's! Are you awake?" Dr called into the house before walking in with Jinxx. He looked around for a few minutes before starting that something felt off.  Ember ran upstairs and found both of the rooms empty "Jinxx! They're not here!" she exclaimed fearfully. He clenched his fists and muttered "F.E.A.R." under his breath before yelling "I'm going to go and tell the guys! Stay here!"
