Tasting The Devil's Love (#1)

Prologue

"Huwag kang lumapit!"isang sigaw ang kumawala sa bibig ko nang tumakbo patungo sa posisyon ko ang binata. Binuka nito ang bibig niya ngunit isang hangin lamang ang binuga nito.

"I- I know everything,"I blurted out as tears started to race down my cheeks. He looked at me for a couple of seconds before glancing at the knife I was clutching in anger. Itinutok ko ito sa kanya bago muling sumigaw sa sakit. I can feel my head throbbed in deep pain as my whole body started to tremble.

I.. I don't know what to do. Gulong gulo ang isip ko. My mind is like in a dark world filled with glass shreds. I don't know where I'm off to but everytime I take a step, I only hurt myself and it sucks. Right now, wala akong maisip kundi ang magalit at damahin ang sakit na binagay ng lalaking nasa harapan ko.

"S-Shayne. We can talk this out, okay? Just calm down,"mahinahon nitong sambit. I looked at him emptily while feeling the cold night breeze from behind me.

I can clearly see how frustrated he is. The eyes I was longing before finally met mine. But- the butterflies I was supposed to feel was replaced with hatred.

He took a step but he suddenly stiffened when I slowly walked backwards. He shouted in anger while he stood there, not knowing what to do anymore.

"Take a step again and you'll regret it,"I whispered in a low voice but enough for him to hear it. Hindi ito umimik.

Napalingon ako sa likuran ko ng makita ko ang pamilyar na pigura ng isang lalaki sa ibaba ng building. His eyes were locked on mine as soon as I looked down. Nakatingin lang ito sa'kin na para bang hinihintay akong bumagsak sa ilalim.

Muling nanginig ang buong katawan ko. W-What's he doing here? I immediately avoided his gaze as I looked again at the guy in front of me but the confused face he was wearing before suddenly changed. His lips slowly flashed a smirk.

"You should thank me since you experienced tasting the devil's love, hmm? Now, go. Jump"
