Missed Calls

You whined as you woke in your own room instead of yours. You looked around and sighed heavily. "This time loop is annoying me!!" You mumbled to yourself as you looked at the valentines gifts you received on the first day.

You just stared at the large pile before going on your day. You were obviously annoyed by the fact that you have to play the same game at the same level again. You also knew that that girl who was in the same time loop knew where you two were, so you wanted to change that.]

You called Jisung to meet at their usual playground where you used to play together when you were kids in the evening. You took another sigh while brushing your hair up. "This is my last chance...better ask for some help before I...disappear.." You looked down. 

Since you had already knew that Renjun was back, you decided to meet up with him before it's too late. 

"Hey Injunnie!" You waved to him as he walked over to you with a suspicious look. "How'd you know I got out of the army?" He pulled out his chair and sat opposite you. You shrugged in a teasingly manner as he gave you a poker face.

"Can you..sit here?" You patted the seat next to you. Renjun raised his eyebrows and slowly made his way next to you. You placed both your hands over him and looked at him directly in the eye.

"Injun ah..if..one day I disappear...what would you do?" You looked down at your hands holding his. He gave you a concerned look,"Why? Is there something wrong? Please tell me! Don't make me worry like this!" He started getting worked up as he placed one of his hands on yours.

"It's nothing..." You took your hands away from him as you took a sip out of your drink. Renjun just nodded and returned to his seat. He felt the sudden awkwardness between you two so he tried lifting the mood a little.

"Hey..so that guy wasn't your boyfriend? Haha it was weird that he said he was haha." He laughed awkwardly. When you thought about who Renjun was talking about, tears started forming from your eyes.

Renjun panickly sat next to you once again and tried to cheer you up. He rubbed his thumb against your cheeks to clear off the tears. "Y/n..I've been hiding this for quite a while now.."

He paused and gave you a tissue to settle down. "But is that guy...hurting you? Why are you crying?" He cut what he was trying to say. You shook your head still sniffling. "He's my childhood friend.."

You took a sip and continued. "I'm just scared of losing him.." He nodded again while rubbing your back,comforting you. Jisung coincidentally walked into the cafe. You didn't notice but Renjun did.

Jisung saw you crying and was going to approach you but Renjun signaled him to wait for him outside. "Hey..Y/n, I need to use the washroom real quick. Excuse me." He stood from his chair and walked out of the cafe.

Jisung was waiting for Renjun at a  large umbrella tree with loads of shade. Jisung stopped leaning against the tree as soon as he saw Renjun walking towards him. "What happened to Y/n?" Jisung asked worriedly.

Renjun scratched his head and explained to him. After a moment of silence, Jisung nodded and thanked Renjun as he walked away from the park. "Strange kid.." Renjun mumbled as he walked back to the cafe.

You were getting ready to meet Jisung at the old playground you both loved. As you put on a simple hoodie, you were about to leave. You paused when you saw a black envelope within the pile of gifts you got.

Your eyes gauged out when you opened it.
