Himaaaat dekho zara uss jerkhead ki! Aur yeh meri dhokhebaaz body, itna cooperate karni ki kya zarurat thi with that stupid idiot jerky jerk?
I took a deep breath and quickly gave my mother the plate and stood next to her.
Maharani came next to me and said, Achanak aapne baal kholne ka kyun Socha?
I shuttered and said, Voh..yeh..Hume na Bahut tight lag raha tha!
She nodded as if she was convinced by my lie when she said, Humare bete ko na khule baal Bahut pasand hai, aur voh Dikh raha hai!
Vaise Abhi tak aya nahi voh wapas?

I froze and looked at her and gave her my awkward smiles while she gave me those 'I know you both' wali smile.
I quickly excused myself and went near my friends when Shivraj stopped me with a frown and said, Aapne baal khol liye? Apko humara phool Lana  nahi pasand tha toh aap kehdeti-
I stopped him and said, Nahi nahi Aisa nahi hai! Voh hume Yeh Bahut tight lag raha tha toh humne jaldi mei khol diya aur bhagte hue gir gaya!

Suddenly a voice said, Yeh raha aapka voh gulab ka phool.
I looked back and saw Sidharth holding a rose flower while smirking.
Why would he do that? Bipolar.. suddenly my eyes went to the gulab, it was a different ONE!
It was more bloomed than the one shivraj gave me. And that was in a pinkish shade and this is red, deep red.
Shivraj got happy and said, Dhanyawaad Sidharth. Yeh lijiye aap pehenljiye!
Crown prince smirked at me and said, Peheniye  peheniye!

I glared at him and took the rose and slowly tucked it behind my ears. My eyes met his and he lipped 'khubsurat' to me.
Ignoring that stupid feeling inside me I ignored him and smiled at Shivraj and thanked him.

Soon the stupid marriage was done, I decided to run towards food.
But Fuck these royal rules I mean sab ek table par baithkar ek saath aise khayenge!
I mean hum logo ke time ka sahi tha, kisko nahi farak padta tha ki shadi mei kya horrha hai, buffet khul jata tha toh sab vahi bhagkar aram se khate rehte!
Well I am physically okay, but deep down.. I miss butter chicken with garlic naan.

Finally we sat down for food. I quickly sat down without caring about anyone else.
My eyes were on my empty plate waiting for it to be magically filled in a second.
Suddenly jerky jerk sat next to me and whispered, thalli ghurne ki jagah aap hume ghurr lein ! Itne bhi kuch bure nahi lagte!
I huffed and saw Aarti saying, Rajkumari aap yaha se uth jayengi hume unke saath baithna hai!
I groaned, I mean Insaan khana bhi Shanti se nahi khaa sakta!

Though I was angry on Aarti the way she asked me to get up, I didn't wanted to pick up a fight because I had no energy I was hell hungry.
I got up half way when he held my wrist and stopped me.
I looked at him confused, he said Aarti agar aapko yaha baithna tha toh aapko jaldi Ana chhaiye tha!
Suddenly Maharani ji said, Yeh kursi hamesha se Shehnaz ki thi aur shehnaz ki hi rahegi!

Why do I feel there is some hidden message because Aarti's face fell!
As if I care, I quickly plopped down on the chair and looked at Riya standing at the door, I frowned and eyed her to bring food.
She slapped her forehead and lipped me to stay patient.
The moment food came I couldn't control myself I did a small yay
And unfortunately the jerky jerk sitting next to me heard it and laughed hard.
I pouted and looked away while he laughed.
Soon the food was served on my plate I didn't care about anyone or anything I started eating as if this was the last time I was allowed to eat.

I felt someone's strong gaze on me but I ignored it and continued stuffing my mouth with food.
Finally when I was done I took a breath of satisfaction and asked Riya to bring the Halwas and the kheer.
I started to eat the kheer when I felt something on my thigh, with the spoon hanging in my mouth I looked at the crown prince smirking at me.
I gave him a 'what' look to which he shrugged and said aap itni pyaari lag rahi thi khate hue ki hum khud ko rok hi nahi paye!

Okay, super cheesy but that shit made my butterflies dance in my stomach.
I looked at him and gave him a small smile and continued eating.
Finally after all those fake good night greetings I decided to sleep.
I entered the room and removed my lehenga and wore my clothes.
If you are asking about my dasis, I asked them to sleep too because they worked way more than me.

I sighed and got into my blanket and closed my eyes.
Suddenly I saw a flash of my bare back and his fingers.
I groaned and said, Abhi toh hume sone de aap!
This time I closed my eyes and the darkness consumed me.

The next morning I woke up was by my mother shaking me as if I was a dead body.
I shouted Kya hai maa aap hume sone bhi nahi deti!
She said, dupher ke 3 BAJ rahe hai Shehnaz! Kuch toh sharam kare aap Rajkumari hai!
I looked at her and hid my face with my palms and said, Lo mama karli humne sharam ab hame sone  dein!

She pulled my blanket off and said, Aapko yaad bhi hai aaj aap sare bacho ko mandir ke liye nikalna hai 4 baje?
Oh right that some ritual thing !
I made a bad face and got up and with the OBVIOUS help of my dasis I got ready.
I changed into a beautiful yellow lehenga and put my hair into a loose braid and did my normal look.
Riya had already packed my every necessity, I thanked the royal life for this. Because I am a really bad packer I stuff everything inside the bag as if I am dumping it!

Everyone had already had their lunch so I had it in my room then I quickly went outside and saw all the palkis and horses ready with the prince and princesses already standing there.
I saw the face of Crown prince he had a big scowl on his face and was shouting at someone.
Well someone woke up at the wrong side of the bed.
Meanwhile Aarti was squeaking with happiness.
She came running to me and said, Aapko pata hai Kal saare  mardo ki baat Pandit ji se hue aur unhone  kaha ki aap dono chahe toh Kisi aur ke saath bhi ho sakte hai! Koi Zabardasti nahi hai!

My heart sank for a minute.
I didn't know this feeling. Idk maybe deep down I wanted that destiny stuff to be true?
I faked smiled at her and looked up in the sky.
For sure it's gonna rain very soon maybe by night.
Then Crown prince asked everyone to sit inside the palkis, he came in front of me and looked into my eyes which was red.
He said, Jaye aap andar, hume safar shuru karna hai!
I looked at him and said, Hume Palki par nahi jana! Hume Ghode par baithna hain!

He said, baccho wali baate na kare Shehnaz aap andar  jaye!
I huffed and said, Jab Hum thakk jayenge toh chale jayenge Abhi hume  baithna hai!
Suddenly Shivraj said, Agar yeh itna bol rahi hai toh baithne dijiye na inhe, Aapko fir bhi koi aaapati hai toh aap inhe humare saath baitha dein!

Hogya siyappa, he asked for a death wish.
Crown prince's head snapped at Shivraj's direction he GLARED AT HIM HARD THAT SHIVRAJ WAS SWEATING.
He looked at me and said, Aap akele hi baithenge, jaye aur uss ghode par baith jaye!
I nodded happily and quickly climbed on the horse.

Soon the trip started, I had this weird feeling that something is gonna happen.. Good or bad I couldn't figure it out, yet.
