(3rd POV)
Y/n was right now driving through the street Divi lived on, slowing down to a halt in-front of a modern looking house. Y/n looked next to him to see a passed out Divi, chuckling at the sight.

"Wake up sleepyhead, I'm not carrying you."

Divi slowly stirred awake, looking out the window to see her house right in front of her.

"Thanks y/n, I'll see you next semester! Have fun at Gravity Falls!!!"

Divi hopped out the car, her bag hanging of her shoulder as she runs to her front door, waving goodbye to y/n.

Y/n continued driving, taking a couple lefts and rights until he reached his own house, parking out in front next to his mums car. It was a small house on a lot of acres, not many neighbours on his street but that's what made it better than others. Y/n only lived with his mum and his dog named Aether (don't ask) a Border Aussie mix.

Y/n gets out the car and enters his house, locking up his car before hand, y/n opens up the door, walking inside and locking it behind him, greeting his mother as he walked past to his room, placing his bag down next to his desk as he revises some work he has due tomorrow, the last day of University is never the easiest day. Revising the work wasn't the hardest part, trying to remember what everything is called and trying to spell it correct was the tricky part, English made no sense to him, sometimes he thinks the book is playing a trick on him and giving him nonsense words to remember.

After a long hour of revising and studying, y/n goes back into the kitchen to see his mother reading new recipes she's trying to cook.

"Mum! I thought I told you I was in charge of cooking!"

Y/n putting a hand on his hip, sighing at how much his mother wants to help around the house but y/n knowing she's already done enough for him.

"I know, I know, but these recipes looked absolutely delicious, I'm still allowed to cook you know."

"Yeah, yeah, I know, but you've already done enough, plus, your cooking kinda sucks..."

Y/n slowly walks away, mumbling the last part to himself.

"I heard that!"

An angry mother calling out to him as he walks into the other room, a hot chocolate his mother had left for him in hand. Taking frequent sips of it. Y/n watched some TV for a while before his mum sat down next to him, a plate of food in her hand, taking bites out of the meal she had just made.

"Hmmm, I think your right, I am a pretty bad cook."

Y/n broke down laughing as his mum had a disgusted expression on her face. Not impressed by her own food she made. Both of them ended up talking for half an hour, sharing simple thing that happened that day, y/n's mum being a vet, she had many interesting things to share about her day, like how the neighbours dog came in from eating a bee. It was clearly an interesting day for the pair.

It was getting pretty late now, already 9:00 so y/n took his mothers plate up to the sink, doing the rest of the dishes before heading back to his room and climbing into his bed, watching anime on his laptop before he felt tired enough to sleep. He had already binge watched a whole entire anime (a short anime), he still wasn't tired enough to get some shut eye so he started to read again, deciding that if he can't sleep then he'll read to pass the time.

—————

It's was 11:00, y/n was slowly starting too feel drowsy so he put the book aside, chucked his phone and laptop on charge so they would be fully charged for tomorrow. Now all that was left to do before y/n could sleep is.... Contemplate life. Think about everything that happened that very same day. The first thing that crossed his mind was Bill, an old friend of his, if you couldn't tell they go way back.
