I try. I sure the hell do. But it never comes easy. I try to feel my way to his heart. Do my hair a little better than yesterday. Fluff it. Curl it. Brush it a little longer. Wear a bra that makes me look nice. Jeans that accentuate the curves. But it means nothing to him. He gives me a second look. But doesn't show anything. Walk with a little more pump. Looks but doesn't stare. Damn. Another failed attempt. But you can't fix you fucked face can you? Act normal pass it off. Just like everyday, the same.
