✿ Chapter 7 ✿

N/N's POV
I heard Shoto running after me
"I-I had no idea" he said

"Thank you for showing me civilization, but I want to go back, when can the next ship take me home" I said while turning my back

"Please stay" he begged me "Pick any room in the castle and the animals will be comfortable in the royal stable" he added
I looked at them, Aoyama looked up with excitement "I like the sound of that" Aoyama said

"Thank you, but I'll stay with my family" I simply replied

Author's POV

When they reached the stable, a pig was struggling with an itch on his back.

"How's this?" N/N said while scratching his back

"Awww, Yes, Perfect, Thank you" the pig thanked
"Glad to help" N/N responded
The pig was shock and ran to the other side of the fence
"Did she just... answer me?" The pig asked
"Hmmm... How did she do that?" The horse inside the stable asked
N/N just smiled at them

"Better watch what you say" another pig showed up with a female voice

"Nice to meet you I'm N/N"

"I'm Keigo, pig-in-charge" the pig said

"We like to humour him" the other pig said as she giggled
"Could we trouble you for a place to stay?" The horse asked
"Plenty room for you, right here!" Keigo said while rolling around in the mud

Aoyama was disturbed, "Please just show us to a nice, sturdy tree" he suggested

"A tree? hm..., the pig-in-charge can take you to the royal greenhouse" the other pig said

Shoto's POV

"I can't marry Princess Yaoyoruzu" I said
"Why? Shes beautiful, talented, responsible, from an impeccable royal family-" My father reasoned
"I'm sure she is! But there is someone else" I slightly raised my voice at them

My mother gasped silently "Shoto, you mean that-" she said while pointing towards N/N

N/N was laughing while talking to her animal friends, I felt a slight blush come across my cheeks as a smiled

"She's different from any girl I've meet before" I said
"Clearly" My father said
"She's daring, curious, at home in the outdoors" I continued
"She also talks to animals" my father added "Be serious for once in your life, Shoto! I let you travel to your heart's content, but the time has come for you to settle down!" he raised his voice at me " And as a prince, you must marry a princess AND ONLY A PRINCESS!" he exclaimed before storming off.

"Shoto, I wish I could help but... Its your father's demands" My mother said in a kind tone "I understand" I said before my mother walk away.

N/N's POV

We arrive at the green house, I opened the gate and it was filled with plants and trees just like the island

"Now this is more like it!" Aoyama exclaimed "A place for a royal bird" he added

I looked around and from the corner of my eye I saw an Island rose, it looked like it hadn't been watered yet
"Hmm... Poor thing" I said and scooped some water from the fountain and poured it over the rose, it bloomed even more as I watered it.

I smile then sighed, still thinking about Shoto and his planned engagement, I knew it wasn't his choice but I felt a little worried, Yaoyoruzu was beautiful, and looked more proper than an island girl the prince just found on the sea.
