✿ Chapter 16 ✿

I was standing at the entrance or more likely the door to the castle, with a servant arguing with me
"I'm sorry, miss, the king insist the prince not be disturbed" he argued
"Please, tell him I need help, I can make a medicine for the animals" I responded back
"No exceptions, good day" He said seemingly annoyed before closing the door

In the throne room
Iida was informing the king about what he heard
"Your majesty, I'm afraid N/N brought the disease with her, her animals infected ours with a type of sleeping sickness" Iida explained, the king look at his wife, still carrying Mina in her arms "Poor Mina" she said "I knew that island girl wasn't to be trusted!" The king exclaimed "But I don't understand why her animals sleep like ours" he added
"Well, carriers of disease are often immune themselves" Iida answered
"How do we cure Mina and the others?" The queen asked concerningly
"I'm afraid, I'm still working on that" Iida replied nervously
"But if they don't wake up... they'll starve to death" Rei explained
The king looked at his wife before standing up "Guards, GUARDS!" He called

N/N was in prison together with her friends, She was purely confused on why, Aoyama walked up to the bars "Look how low I've sunked, A royal bird languishing in a stink hole, where they keep prisoners and ruffians..." Aoyama said disappointingly
"Are we really prisoners?" Uraraka asked with the same tone

A guard then walked to their prison cell and slid a tray of food under the bars "Food for the prisoners" he said bluntly
"I rest my case..." Aoyama said while looking at the food then turning away, I stood up and walked towards the bars "Please, let me talk to Prince Shoto, if the animals don't wake up soon... They'll die" I pleaded
"You should've thought of that before your animals got 'em sick" the guard responded befote walking away "But they didn't!!!" I exclaimed, the guard ignored me

Aoyama was eating the food that the guard gave "Now I know why people break out of prison!" Aoyama said while munching on the food "The foods terrible!" I gasped in shocked "You're not eating that?" I asked, Aoyama gulped down the food that he just ate "How could you be so foolish?!" Midoriya exclaimed in panic "Do you really think, I'd be dumb enough to eat food with sunset herb-" he was cut off by twitching before falling asleep
"Aoyama? Aoyama!" I tried calling out to him, but it was too late, he was already fast asleep, I picked him up and carried him in my arms

On the castle
Shoto walked up on his father and complained "Is it true?! You put N/N in the dungeon?" Shoto complained "I had no choice" Enji replied surprisingly calm "It's not right, she'd never hury anyone!" Shoto complained once more "So, you think I should free her?" Enji asked his son
"Yes!" Shoto replied straight away with no hesitation "Let her returm to her island..." he added feeling gloomy on the inside
"On one condition" The king said
"Name it" Shoto responded
"You resume your duties as Prince and marry Princess Yaoyoruzu..."The king answered "Father-" Shoto was about to complain but cut of by his father "Great kings must make hard decisions" Enji touchèd his son
Shoto having no choice looked disappointed "As you wish..." he responded bluntly

With Yaoyoruzu
"Your wedding gown will be the top of the kingdom!" Ariana complimented while looking at the gown displayed on a mannequin
"Mother, the prince is in love with N/N, not me" Yaoyoruzu reasoned
Ariana looked at her daughter with scorn "Enough!" she exclaimed "This marriage will happen, End of discussion!" Ariana added "But you..." Yaoyoruzu hesitated "You must want me to be happy" she finally said "Oh you will be..." Ariana said with a very uneasy tone "Now prepare for your fitting" She requested, Yaoyoruzu sighed in defeat "Yes mother"

Back in the Dungeon
Aoyama was still asleep, "Will he be okay?" Uraraka asked, I was about to answer when the prison doors suddenly opened "The king wants you and your beasts sent home" the guard that opened it said demandingly, you looked down in defeat.
