Chapter 4: new wolf in the pack

Kaydens pov

I wake up to Kira and dad fighting, i groan and jump out of bed, whats it about now i wonder. The sun blinds me for a few seconds, i look around my room. I haven't cleaned it since mum died, that thought makes me sober.

I grabbed the first shirt i saw and then got my Levi jeans, as i put the top on i noticed it had a wolf on the back how ironic i thought with a laugh, my jeans were faded because i liked them.

I ran down the stairs and with a sigh i open the door to Kira crying and screaming, dad was in a corner with a scowl on his face " whats going on" i say with alpha tone in my voice.

Kira looks into my eyes with tears "don't cry sis it's ok" i say with a softer tone, she nods. I turn to dad with a expectant look and raised eyebrow,

"you two never go to school" he says i roll my eyes at him

"so what you don't care anyway" me and my sister say at the same time, i ignore his rant and guide Kira to the fridge, when we have eaten i put my shoes on and we head to school.

We get to school and i see the other alpha who hurt Kira, he glares at us but doesn't say anything, we go to our lockers and find mouse waiting for us. He nods at us then exposes his neck to me "i'm not your alpha mouse you don't have to do that" i say.

"but i want you to be, i've always been a lone wolf but now your here i long for a pack" he whispers

"aw, bro you gonna let him in, he did help us when we needed it the most!" Kira tells me, i roll my eyes at her thinking about what i should do " fuck this shit fine your in" i say with a laugh, and for the first time i see him actually smile.

"ok lets get to class" i say, we head over to the class we all share when the alpha, i think he's name is Dan, comes up to us "what do you think your doing, attacking a person in broad daylight!" he growls.

"Whoa, Dan right? we didn't do anything why would we? it's us that got attacked by hunters" i say with my hands up.

" yes whatever" he huffs then walks away.

"what the hell was that about" i ask mouse and Kira who both shakes their heads.

All our lessons go by really fast and before we know it its home time.I look towards Kira who is walking home with a boy who is he and why is he holding her hand i think, mouse laughs at my jealously and protectiveness "you've got to let her go some time kay" i sigh and nod.

When we get home Kira brings the boy in, dad smiles for the first time since mum and i find myself look at both of them and smiling finally our lives could turn around for the better, the boy looks to me and says "hi i'm Jason " he then puts his hand out, i shake his hand then go into the other room.

Kira and Jason goes upstairs and i yell "keep the door open", mouse laughs at me and i roll my eyes,

"do you want to watch a movie?" i ask mouse.

"sure, put on whatever" he says.

"ok" i say, i pick out wolverine because its like the best film and he is like a wolf.Mouse laughs at my choice, as soon as i put it in there's a knock on my door. I look questionably at mouse who shakes his head. I use the pack link so if its a werewolf then he can't hear us "Mouse shall i open the door or leave it, what if it's hunter or something?"

"you would know if it's hunters they wouldn't just knock."  i nod my head then i ask Kira to stay upstairs and i start to walk towards the door when i hear a scream.
