chapter 3 : Help

Kaydens pov

I watch as my sister wriggles in pain, i can smell the silver in her blood and it's stronger that usual. My ear prick up at the sound of a twig snapping, i growl "who's there" i say through the wolf link. A light grey wolf gracefully flies to my side, "mouse!" i yell at him. He gives me a grin in his Wolf form, and i return it "we have to get me sister home will you watch her for two minutes?" i ask him.

"yes, i would be honored" he says, i nod that him then go to the near by stash of clothes. I phrase and notice that my left leg hurts,

"kay?" i hear kira whisper, i rush to her side. "hey sis" i say softly into her ear, the wolf inside her whines, telling me she hurts, "i know you do we will be home soon" i say to reassure them both.

I gently pick her wolf form up, mouse stays to our back, protecting us. I walk the short cut to our massive house, dads waiting when we get home.

"Where have you been!" he yells, i growl at him,

"well if you gave a fucking damn about us we would tell you!" i yell back, kira wriggles showing me her discomfort.

i peacefully placed her on the bed, my dad still ranting about school. "SHUT THE FUCK UP" i snarl at him, mouse jumps i didn't  know he was there i think to myself.

My dad pales and walks to the other side of the room, i turn to mouse " hey man just follow my scent and there's some clothes for you" i say, he nods and disappears.

I turn to my dad " are you gonna help or not" i say with raised eyebrows, like mouse he just nods, i look at my sister then i kneel next to her, i hold her hand like its a lifeline.

She doesn't have the energy to keep hold of the phrase so i quickly place a blanket over her, "argh!" she yells as she leaves her wolf form.Mouse enters the room, and for the first time i study him, he's small about 5"4' and has blonde shaggy hair. All in all hes scrawny and looks like he has never had a decent meal.

i watch my sister, her eyes tell me she's in lots of pain and i just what to make it go away, mouse looks pitiful and i growl at him so he knows i don't like pity. He nods then asks "are we gunna help her then?" i pale what should i doi ask myself, i shake my head showing him i don't know what to do. He rolls his eyes then gets his phone out where the hell did he keep that when he was in wolf formi watch as he dials i number then speaks to someone "hey, Jess yes it's me, no i'm fine. Please stop for a second ok? thanks i need some help my um the new alpha needs your help, his sister is hurt badly ok yes i'll send you the address."

"there all done" he says as if that helps.

"what do you mean who's coming?"

"my Friend shes a nurse" he tell me just as there's a knock on the door. My dad goes to get it, i did'nt even know he was still there.

I watch as a girl about my age, 16,  wearing a nurse uniform, comes into the room and as soon as she sees Kira she goes straight to work.

Five hours pass and still no change but all of a sudden Jess runs into the living room "shes awake" she says.

"thanks you for everything you did i will never forget this" i say while hugging her, she blushes then heads for the door, mouse goes after her but turn around in the doorway "you are my alpha kayden" he says. i stare at the door for a long time wondering what he meant.
