Tenten's POV

What did I just hear? I stood there for pretty long and didn't say anything. It wasn't from the person I want to ask me. It was someone I completely didn't know. Someone from the school of course, but someone I just didn't know he was in the school.

He repeated his question. What do I do?

"Umm I know it may be awkward right now but you know me right?" The guy asked holding his hand to shake it.

But I didn't shake it. I just stared at him. I was in shock. I never would've thought someone would be interested in someone like me. I'm a tomboy and I don't think anyone would want me.

" I'm Kiba, you know the guy that always hangs out with you all. " he told me as he laughed nervously.

Maybe I should say yes. Neji probably won't ask me anyways. But then again, I'd rather go by myself so I have to reject him. Ok, I got this. Just say no.

"No." Is all I said. But I sounded like I didn't want to be bothered. It wasnt my fault. In my defense, I've always been the one getting rejected, not rejecting others. Maybe I sounded too harsh.

"Umm w-wait...........is what I was going to say when Kiba ran away.

I followed him but he was quick. I gotta say. I've never talked to Kiba that much so it shocked me with how fast he was. I finally caught up to him and grabbed his wrist. I kinda held his hand so I quickly let go.

" Kiba, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say no like that. " I said shaking his hand like he wanted me to do before.

"So, you want to go with me?" He asked with hope in his eyes.

I didn't want to break his sweet heart. You know I'm not that cruel but I also don't want to lie to Kiba.

"No, I did mean no. I just didn't mean to say it like that." I said smiling still holding his hand well shaking it in my defense.

"Oh well it's ok. I knew I would never have a chance with Neji here anyways." He said as he smirked .

I squeezed his hand tight.

"What do you mean? Did Ino tell you?" I asked as I squeezed his hand harder.

" Itaaiiii, no no no. You actually just told me now please let go of me hand.

I dropped his hand. How come he knew? Who told him? Oh yeah, I did.

"Wait. Please don't ever tell him. It's not like it's a big crush anyways but just don't tell him please. I'll do anything." I pleaded. I practically begged on my knees.

He smirked at me.

"Well go to the Winter Talent Fest with me." He smirked .

I scoffed.

"I said I'll do anything, but I don't like you and I don't want to go with you." I told him straight up with my pride still in my hand. Actually, I probably threw it somewhere begging on my knees earlier.

Just hopefully. Hopefully, none of the girls saw that. Better yet, I hope none of the boys saw that.

"Well I hope to see you at my dorm later on or Neji will not be your cute little friend." He smirked at me.

No wonder, I never became his friend.
