Tenten's POV

"Ok so one two three four. One two three four." We were currently practicing for the dance.

I couldn't exactly focus knowing that Neji wanted to tell me something. Everytime I look at him, he avoids me and turns away. All of this stuff is complicated and it's making me want to be single forever.

I never knew this kind of stuff would be hard because I never imagined myself ever liking someone. I mean I'm Tenten. Just why? Why would I end up falling for someone and I can't even lie and say it's a crush any more. I fell for him and fell for him hard.

But what do I do once I admit it? I'm too scared for rejection. Normally, I wouldn't care because it wasn't that big of a crush but it hurts my heart.

"Hey Tenten watch out!" I looked up and saw that Naruto bumped into me and I fell down but not in the floor, I fell on Neji. The world really hates me doesn't it?

He helped me up and I look up at Sakura who pulls me and the girls away.

"Boys, just keep practicing. I'll join later." Sakura yelled before yanking me somewhere else.

It was also the perfect time for the boys to talk.

Neji's POV

We stopped dancing for a while as soon as Sakura and the girls left. I sat down and cooled off by drinking some water.

"Hey Neji" I looked over to see Sasuke and the boys walking towards me.

"What's up?" I asked .

"Neji, is something going on between you and Tenten?" Sasuke asks me.

Well they were going to find out sooner or later. Might as well tell them.

"Yea, I kissed her at the arcade."

"We already know about that dattebayo. We wanna know if something else happened."

How come Naruto gets smart when it comes to love? I sighed.I

"Yea something else did happen." I started off.

"I'm guessing you tried to confess to Tenten." I looked over and saw Shikamaru talking to me.

I nodded slowly but surely.

"And then I'm guessing everytime you tried to tell her, something would always interrupt." He continued .

I nodded again. Smart guy huh?

"and then I'm guessing you tried about three times already." He said .

Now that, I didn't expect him to know that. I wanted to confess at the arcade but I obviously messed up by kissing her. The second time was when I found her looking for meat buns. And then the third time was when I heard her say she likes me to her cousin and Sakura and the girls ruined the perfect time to confess.

I nodded again.

"And I'm guessing you're probably stuck in what to do." He continues .

"That's an awful lot of guessing. So what should I do?" I ask

" Hmm, maybe you should........

Tenten's POV

"Girls, we need to keep setting up. The dance is in another three hours." I tell them .

"Yea, another THREE hours so talk to us." Temari says.

"About what?" I ask .

"Oh don't be so stupid. We know that there's something going on between you and Neji so just tell us what happened. " Ino squeaked.

"Well you guys ruined our moment." I mumbled but of course now they have super hearing and heard that.

"WE DID?" The three girls say at the Same time ( not Hinata)

"Yes. He was about to tell me something when you all just had to run in." I roll my eyes .

"Omg, I'm so sorry. But you technically just admitted that you liked him." Ino states the obvious.

"I know." I mumble .

"Tenten, I know Neji. He most likely likes you back. But you know what will make him all flustered?" Hinata asks in a devil voice.

"What?"

"Introducing Konoha High's DANCing Team"

That's out queue. We all walked out to cheers and hoorays. We all waved at them. I then remember why we changed from singing to dancing to dancing.

" Ok so everyone I decided that I wanted to dance. Sounds most of us can dance it'll be much better anyways. " Sakura tells us.

"Ok so that means we'll dance but it'll be kind boring if we don't do something exciting." I said .

"I think you're on to something. Maybe it should be boys against girls." Sasuke suggested.

Everyone looked at him as if we just didn't decide to work together. He sighed.

"For our entertainment. It could be like a boys verse girl theme. We could also add some back up dancers." He said.

"OHHHHH"

"Hello everybody." Sakura yells.

"HEEELLOOO"

"So who thinks that the girls are gonna win this dance battle?" I ask/ yell

"I DOOOOO" a bunch of boys said and some girls.

"and who thinks the boys are gonna win?" Sasuke yells.

"Sasuke, I love you."

" Boys will always win"

"AAAAHAHH"

"Ok, ladies first." Neji says in the microphone which made a lot of girls scream his name.

Not gonna lie, I did feel a bit jealous but it was the girl's time to shine now.

"Ok everybody. We're going to start this competition." Ino yells out.

"Let's do this GIRLS!!" We all yelled on the girls side.

"WOOOOO!!!"

" Now it's the boys time to rock dattebayo" Naruto yells.

We all bowed and walked away. After our performance, we walked off the stage. We all started talking because our performance was so good.

We were all about to walk around the festival and enjoy ourselves when Neji grabbed my wrist and I turned to see him drenched in sweat. If that wasn't hot, I don't what is.

"I need to talk to you"
