"Gryffindor!"

The Gryffindor table eruptes with cheers and some even scream. I let go of my chair and sigh in relief

"We have both of the potters." I hear someone scream.

Mcgonagall taps her glass making the whole hallway go silent. "A moment please."

Dumbledore stands up.

"Let the feast begin." He smiles at us. Magically food appears in front of us. I gasp never seeing so much food before.

I begin to stare at it "Are you alright (Y/n)?" Hermione asks and I quickly look at her and nod. "Yes.." I smile at her.

I grab some food and smile feeling like I was going to cry knowing iv never eaten such good food.

Harry is sitting next to Percy. He leans over.

"Say, Percy, who's that teacher talking to Professor Quirrell?"

I stop eating for a minute to listen to there conversation.

"Oh, that's Professor Snape, head of Slytherin house."

"What's he teach?"

"Potions. But everyone knows it's the Dark Arts he fancies. He's been after Quirrells job for years."

Ron, having just finished a chicken wing, reaches into the bowl for more, and a ghostly head, pops out.

"Ahh!"

"Hello! How are you? Welcome to Gryffindor"

Numerous ghosts come pouring from the walls, sailing along.

"Whoo-hoo-hoo!"

"Look, its the Bloody Baron!" A random girl shouts.

"Hello, Sir Nicholas. Have a nice summer" Percy smiles.

"Dismal. Once again, my request to join the headless hunt has been denied."

I look at him confused I was about to say something but Hermione beat me to it.

"Hey, I know you! You're Nearly Headless Nick!"

"I prefer Sir Nicholas if you don't mind."

"Nearly headless? How can you be nearly headless?"

"Like this."

Nick Grabs his head and pulls it to the side. His head is hanging on just by a thread.

I shake my head violently not wanting to see it anymore.

"Ahh!"

"Eugh."

Percy is leading the Gryffindors to the staircases.

"Gryffindors, follow me please. Keep up. Thank you."

"Ravenclaw, follow me. This way." We heard another boy say

"This is the most direct path to the dormitories. Oh, and keep an eye on the staircases...they like to change" then we see a vast amount of staircases, people walking on them, and some switching places.

"Whoa." I look at the stairs amazed.

"Keep up, please, and follow me. Quickly now, come on. Come on."

"Seamus, that picture's moving!"

"Look at that one, Harry!" Ron points at one

"I think she fancies you."

"Oh, look! Look! Who's that girl?"

Man in painting: Welcome to Hogwarts.

"Who's that"

Approaching the Gryffindor dorms. They come up to a large painting of a large woman in a pink dress.

"Password?"

"Caput Draconis."

The woman nods and the painting opens to reveal a gape in the wall.

"Follow me, everyone. Keep up, quickly, come on."

"Oh, wow." I whisper amazed

Inside common room

"Gather 'round here. Welcome to the Gryffindor Common Room. Boys' dormitories, upstairs and down to your left. Girls, the same on your right. You'll find that your belongings have already been brought up"

We all nod and start to walk up to our rooms. I look at my bed seeing I already had everything there. I smile and see Hermione.

"Hey Hermione!" I whisper

"Hey (Y/n)."

"I'm sorry about my brother-"

"No need to apologize." She cuts me off making mr smile.

"Its best we go to bed we have classes tomorrow." She smiles at me and I nod.

"Goodnight (Y/n)."

"Goodnight Hermione!"
