I hummed as I waited at my desk fixing my hair, I was actually a kindergartener teacher, and it was the start of a new school year. It was still pretty early so I wasn't surprised when no one was here yet other than teachers, actually I'm pretty sure it isn't allowed for kids to be here this early? I sighed as I stood up looking over my classroom one last time to make sure everything was in place for today. "Hello?" I jumped when I heard someone at my door, then I smiled to see it was a father with their son, who was smiling at me with a juice box. "Hello! I'm miss Y/n!" I smiled at the both as the dad awkwardly sat down his son. "Hello, I'm Kite and this Is Gon." Kite the father spoke as Gon was too busy studying the room. "Oh! It's nice to meet you both! Gon if you want you can go look around untill everyone else gets here." I smiled as Gon nodded quickly walking over to the windows that had colorful drawings from the kids and I from last year.

"I'm suprised, he is very dependent already." I giggled as I waved Kite over to my desk so he could get some of the paperwork he would had to fill out. "Yeah, he takes after his dad." Kite sighed rubbing The back of his head. "Oh?" I hummed as I started going through my desk looking through each file. "Will you be dropping him off every morning?" I asked poping up from behind my table, "Yes, I'll also be picking him up." Kite explained as I handed him the nice stack of papers. "You get Homework, But Gon probably won't have any this year unless he some how gets behind." I smiled as Kite took the stack of papers staring at it with distaste. "Don't worry you don't have to have that finished untill friday." I smiled as Gon came running up to us, "Kite! Look, she has a Fish!" Gon Cheered having to jump to reach his father's hand making my heart melt a little.

"Wow, really?" Kite looked at me, I could tell he didn't want to stay too long. "Hey Gon, how about we go name the fish? I think Kite has to go, but when he comes back later we can tell him what we decide!" I grinned at Gon who stared at me as if I was the smartest person alive, it was cute. "Okay! Bye-bye!" Kite gently patred Gon's head before he left. The fish actually already had name, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to rename them.

The first few months were like this, stiff and kinda Awkward but every morning with out doubt. "Y/n! Good morning!" Gon cheered running into my room full speed, this time I was standing in the way. Gon completely taking out my legs I fell sideways on my left Knee making me freeze with Pain as Gon also froze, but with Guilt. "What happened? I heard a crash." Kite jogged into the classroom, Kite's voice made Gon start sobbing as he tried to Tell Kite what happened as I laid on my back holding my my left knee in pain. Kite looked between us sighing as he came toward me, "are you okay?" Kite asked as I did my best to blink away my tears, "Yeah, can you help me up?" I sighed Kite helped me up as I felt pain shooting up and down my whole left leg. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean too." Gon sobbed his little hands rubbing away his tears as fast he could. "It's okay Gon we all make mistakes, but I have told you stop running into my room." I gently scolded as I petted Gon's hair making him cry harder, "Am I in trouble?" Gon almost started crying harder at his own question. I shifted all my weight onto my right leg as I put my hand up to my face dramatically humming, trying to make Gon stop crying so hard.

"Hummm, I dunno, if you become my helper today and help me pass things out. I'll let this pass, okay?" I smiled as Gon nodded so fast I thought he was going to give himself a headache. "Okay, good! Now can you go grab the color pencil cans and put on on each table for me?" Gon smiled tear trails still on hus face as he fast walked to go do his job. "Are you sure you're okay? Gon is small but he is pretty strong." Kite asked as he guided me to my desk helping me sit down, his arm never leaving mine. "Yeah, I may still be in my 20s but stuff like this doesn't make me feel like it." I laughed as Kite gave me a small smile, "you should smile more, I'd bet if you did you'd be a magnet." I teased shifting my weight again, pain shooting off my leg evertime I moved.

Kite turned a light pink at my words as he waved me off, "Do you want me to make Gon write you an apology? I will, you seem to be actually hurt." Kite changed the subject back to me clearly taking note of how much I was moving. I just shook my head and gave him a smile, "No, but make sure that Gon just fast walks now." I laughed as Kite nodded before we both watched Gon walk around the room, doing things I didn't even have to ask him, he just knew. "You raised him good." I smiled as Kite also smiled softly before giving me one last wave, "see you again later." Kite mummed before he went and said his goodbyes to Gon.

Although the next day I wasn't in my classroom, in the first couple of months Kite knew that something was up. You never missed a day, It was almost a sin in your eyes, you treated the kids as your own. Then you was gone again, two days in a row, either you was sick or Gon hurt you more than you let on. Then thankfully on the third day you was back, but you had a crutch a large Green cast covering your whole left knee. "Hi Gon! I miss you so much!" I smiled brightly making Gon freeze when he saw my leg. "Did I cause that?" Gon asked his eyes tearing up before I shook my head. "No I got in a car crash, But! I picked your favorite color! Isn't it cool?" I asked lying to Gon who then gave me a grin asking if he could sign it.

"Car crash?" Kite asked as I laughed at the accusing undertone he held in his voice. "Yeah, Gon did do a number, a clean break. I had to leave after lunch the other day the swelling and pain got too bad." I whispered to Kite as Gon went looking for Pink paint pen to sign. He chose pink because he thought of watermelons, and watermelons make everyone happy. "I'm serious, Do you want me to pay for your doctor fees? Gon did cause this." Kite whispered gently grabbing my arm his eyes pleading. "I could never." I chuckled gently sitting my hand on his that held my arm. "Here help me to my desk so Gon can sign my leg." I smiled as Kite did in fact help me to my desk just in time for Gon to happily run up to me.

"And done! Now you'll get better even faster!" Gon proudly declared, before Kite could say something more I gently took the paint pen from Gon handing it to Kite. "I can't let my Favorite dad not sign it! I might not ever recover if he doesn't." I dramatically called out as Kite got Pink as Gon quickly agreed. "When you kiss my boo-boo's they feel better when you kiss them so it must be the same if you sign the cast!" Gon cheered as I gave Kite a smirk behind Gon. "Gon can you finish setting up the classroom? I'll give you some candy if you do." I smiled as Gon shot off fastly walking. "Are you actually going to make me sign you're cast?" Kite asked his face turning all kinds if red. "You're willing to give me a crap ton of money but not sign my cast?" I asked making Kite sigh realizing he was stuck in a corner. "Alright," Kite turned red as he signed my cast in the bright pink paint pen.

"I wonder if you're kisses would make it feel better." I teased him making him actually laugh his face still burning bright red. "I am still serious about it though." Kite mumbled as he handed me the paint pen, "how about this, are you free this weekend?" Shoot your shot I thought, kite slightly opened his mouth in shock, "are you flirting with me?" Kite choked out making me giggle loudly, "only if you like it." I smirked my head resting on my hand as I stared up at Kite. "I'll see you Friday after school, it's a date." Kite mumbled his face almost as red as a tomato. "I'll give you my number when you come pick up Gon later." I giggled as Kite nodded leaving giving Gon one last wave.
