I know.

I loved a man
& he brought me infidelity.
Then, I loved a man
& he lied to me,
only loved the first man who hurt me.
Both made me feel love,
whole-heartedly, but it's gone
in the wind, when they speak
all these things that are meaningless
only to drop me when they get what
they so desire - my body for the first
guy & my husband for the second.
