This was the second book I ever wrote.
When the alarm went off, Emmy didn't want to get up. She was comfortable with his body pressed against hers. She had waited forever for that exact feeling. It was ending too soon.
Kevin: "EmmaGrace?"
Emmy/EmmaGrace: "Hmm?"
Kevin: "Get up."
Emmy/EmmaGrace: "No."
Kevin: "You have to make my cupcakes."
Emmy/EmmaGrace: "Take your cupcakes and shove them..."
Kevin: "Don't finish that."
He whispered in her ear as he ran his fingers down her arm.
Emmy/EmmaGrace: "I said no funny business, Mister."
She sits up.
Kevin: "I knew that would get you up."
Emmy/EmmaGrace: "Dirty play."
She stood up and got showered she put on old clothes to finish up the cupcakes. She walked to the shop and unlocked the door. Riley came in shortly after.
Emmy/EmmaGrace: "How is it you look amazing this early in the morning?"
Riley: "Sleep Emmy; it's called sleep."
Emmy/EmmaGrace: "Yeah, yeah."
They both laugh. Then get busy.
Hours later, everything is done. Emmy decided to close the bakery for the weekend for a personal event. She had told her friends Kevin invited them to come to the party and conference as well. She didn't know Kevin had already told them. Emmy went home, took a nap. She got up, showered, put on the fanciest dress she had (it wasn't that fancy)

Kevin picked up her and Dalton. They headed to the party. Andrew filled Dalton in on all the players on Kevin's team. He knew who they were; it was his favorite team. Andrew was giving him the details. Emmy was nervous, Kevin could tell. He grabbed her hand.
