Draco when he breaks up with you to try and protect you from the death eaters
Draco used to be different, despite his reputation as the school bully he used to have another side of him that only used to come out when you were with him.
Since 4th year both you and Draco had been in a relationship and honestly, it was the greatest time of your lives. You both never said it but you were both so utterly in love with each other, and the thought of you being apart made you heartbroken.
But lately, Draco had been acting odd, he had been making up excuses not to do anything with you. Even if it was just studying in the library he made up some dumb excuse, you tried to talk to him about it but he would either deny anything was wrong or just ignore you.
Every day you were becoming more and more worried, so to help with this stress you decided to go up to the astronomy tower and calm yourself down. You made your way up there and sat down on the floor, it was silent and for the first time in weeks you felt bliss. Minutes, after you had sat down the door to the tower, opened again.
"Hello? Is anyone there" You call out "It's Draco Y/N" Draco called back You stood and both started to walk towards each other
"Oh Draco it's so good to talk to you again, "You said as you were going in for a hug. Draco stepped back
"I'm going to stop you there Y/N"
You started up at him confused, slowly tears began to stream from his eyes.
"I can't do this anymore, I can't bear the thought of ignoring you anymore I have to just get it over with"
"What are you talking about Draco"
"I have to do this, I have to break up with you, if I don't they will kill you"
"Who will kill me Draco?"
"The Death eaters, I have too many ties to Voldemort and his death eaters that I just can't cut. And and and if I don't join them they are going to break every single thing that means something to me."
"Look at me Draco" You grabbed Dracos's hands.
"Our love for each other is stronger than those death eaters, together we will get through this. There is no need to break up with me because if we have each other no one can hurt us"You said tears slowly falling from your eyes
"You said, love"
"Yes I did Draco I said love because I love you"
Draco let go of your hands and placed one on your cheek and one on your waist "I love you too Y/N," He said
He then pulled you towards his body and kissed you
At that moment they were just two lovers, and nothing could tear them apart.
