Cedric when he wins the second task with you right beside him.
Cedric meant quite a lot to you, he was one of your closest friends and longtime crush. But despite this, never thought you meant a lot to Cedric, but you couldn't have been more wronger.
You were sitting in the library one evening when Mr.Bagman came up to you,
"Mrs/Mr/Mx Y/L/N would you kindly follow me," He asked
You were a little bit suspicious of what he was doing, but you decided to follow him anyway.
That was all you remembered until you suddenly 'woke up' in the lake surrounded by cheering people. You looked around, surely this was just some wack ass dream?
"Are you okay Y/N" You heard a voice ask behind you.
You looked behind you to see Cedric treading water.
"Am I dreaming?"You ask
"Far from it Y/N, I'll explain everything when we get up there," He said while pointing to the stands
You both made your way to the stands and climbed up the ladder, you definitely knew you weren't dreaming now. The cheering became louder the further you climbed the ladder, people began to congratulate Cedric.
Once you got to the top, Cedric began to explain everything. It made much more sense now.
"So does that make sense?"Cedric asked
"Yeah, but why did they take me? Why not like your best friend?"
"Well umm I guessing because you mean a great deal to me Y/N," He said nervously
You smiled at him, before chattering your teeth. Now that you were out of the lake you were extremely cold.
You began to rub your sides with your hands until you felt someone begin hugging you. You looked up to see Cedric's face, you felt warm and safe in his presence.
You smiled and began to blush, while Cedric did the same
