The next day you wanted to go biking along the lakefront. It was a semi cloudy day, you both walked down to a bike rental store and hopped on. It was a lengthy stretch along the water, but it was a perfect day. The water sparkled as bits of sunlight shone through the clouds. The wind was whipping through your hair as you weaved in and out of tourists. Clay was quick on your heels, enjoying every minute. Clay rode up next to you.

"You got maneuvering skills through all these people." He yells to you through the wind.
"I've hit at least 10 while getting used to it." You call back.

Clay turned away with wide eyes making you laugh. You didn't notice a man's dog walk out in your path. You realised just in time to swerve, but not in time to not run into Clay in the process. Thank god you weren't going too fast. You both went tumbling to the ground. A few onlookers asked if you were ok.

"Now make that 11." You look at Clays angry face.
"Jesus fucking christ dude control your dog!" Clay calls out.
"Calm down piss baby!" You pull his face to yours.
You were trying not to laugh. He saw your face and heard the name and collapsed onto you laughing.
"God that nickname man." Clay rolls off of you.
"George is pretty funny sometimes." You sit yourself up.
The bikes were all busted as they had hit a tree that miraculously missed you and Clay.
"My god I think we almost died." Clay says picking a branch out of your hair.
"Now you know how I felt when you dumped me into the ocean while fishing." You poke him in the chest.
He lets out a laugh in response. He extended a hand, helping you up in the process.
"I don't think we can ride these back..." Clay says looking at the bikes in a mangled mess.
"Oh no I was just gonna hop on and ride away like nothing happened." You say sarcastically.
Clay laughs and calls an uber. "Ill tell the bike rental place that the bikes are... Out of commission."

The ride home was filled with laughter about how comically you two went flying. Clay heckled you about how he had just complimented you on your riding skills then immediately got them into a crash. The sun was setting and you both watched it through the window and you pulled up to the apartments.

You were both tired and a little sore from the accident, you suggested that you head to the hottub later.

It was a bit later when you and Clay decided to head out to the hot tub.
"You know, I was at the beach for a month and didnt swim once." You couldn't believe you said that sentence.
"Well you were a little... Preoccupied, I'm sure you will be coming back so you have plenty of time." Clay smiled.
"We might as well take a dip in the hot tub. Go ahead and grab the champagne out of the fridge while I change." You walked off.

You picked out a basic white 2 piece. It was a sting tie and it fit your curves nicely as it was high waisted. You slipped on a coverup. Clay had gotten changed as well, the champagne out on the counter. You both left, it was close to midnight. A short elevator ride later and you were on top of the building under a clear sky of stars.

"I'm going to be honest, I'm surprised it's open, and furthermore that there aren't people here already." Clay looked around at the deserted deck.
"Well we best not waste any time, get in!" You slip off your coverup and dip a toe into the rolling bubbles.
"Damn you look good." Clay hasn't seen you in a swimsuit yet.

You smile and shake your head as you slide into the warm water. The small pool of water was illuminated by a pale blue glow. Clay climbed in as well popping the champagne. You both traded off swigs as you looked out at the view. This was an unforgettable skyline at night. Millions of tiny lights everywhere on the ground and in the sky. Warm air washed over the deck.

"Man for such a crazy city, there are some nice calm moments." Clay says lifting the bottle to his lips.
"Yeah. The only nice thing about this city is the apartment I have. But other than that I never get a break." You sigh.
"Why don't you move then?" Clay asks.
"Well im so indecisive I wouldn't know where to go." You look at Clay from across the hottub.
He was staring down the bottle, you reached out a hand so you could take a drink.
Passing it to you Clay says, "I could see how you could get tired of the constant hustle and bustle, I can only imagine how many times you have gone to teh same museums over and over."
"I can drink to that, though the adler planetarium never gets old." You say taking a swig.
"Space is endless, so many possibilites." Clay looks up at the stars.
You wade over to Clay and sit next to him, he places a wet arm around you. You lean your head on him and look up.
"I found the big dipper" You point up to the sky.
"I found the little dipper..." Clay says looking at you pinching your nose.
"You are so cheesy." You smile at Clay.
"Hey, I'm not the one blushing." He pulled his arm away from the side.

You were now straddling his lap. You placed arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss. Clay had his arms wrapped around your back, a hand sliding down to grab your ass. You continued to makeout for a while until Clay switched his arms to cradle you. You placed a hand on his chest, drawing small shapes on his water droplet covered torso, but not before plating a kiss on his collarbone.

"Sit lower in the hot tub, you mentioned your shoulders hurt and I'll rub them for you.
Clay didn't detest releasing you and sinking into the water.

You ground your fingers into his sturdy shoulders. They were well shaped, small dips and hills from formed muscles. You applied pressure as you slide your hands down his biceps, planting a kiss on his neck when you got close enough. He laid his head back and looked into your eyes as you worked. You then planted a kiss on his lips. He smiled as you pulled away.

"You do such a good job of taking care of me" Clay looks forward, "I hope you never stop"
You slid your hands down his chest, resting your head on his shoulder, "Don't worry about the future, worry about now."
"I'm a logical man of course I worry about the future." Clay says turning to face you.
He crossed his arms and set them on your knees.
"Love always works over logic, I wouldn't worry too much." You fan fingers through his blonde locks.
He looked up at you, with almost puppy dog eyes, "You really do love me?"
"Of course Clay, no one else makes me as happy as you do." You lean your head oh his, closing your eyes.

He kissed your leg and let his head fall into your lap.
