Falling for the Life Gaurd

Chapter 3

The party was so amazing and all the supportive people in my life showed up.  The doctor, my grandparents aunts and uncles all there. Seeing there faces made me even more motivated to be a better swimmer. Which is what I planned  to do. When I showed up for swimming lessons on my second day I was so much more determined. I sat on the edge of the pool waiting for the instructor to show up. The other little girls seemed excited too. Talon appeared walking from the changing room. He looked a lot different from last time. His goggles were not on so his expressions were easy to read. He seemed annoyed. He walked into the pool not even attempting to splash me. I guess my talk from yesterday was the thing he needed to get over  me. The entire time we did lessons, he just called out drills and me and the other girls just worked hard and did the drills. Today was a lot more productive unlike yesterday. The entire day went smooth until the end of class. The last drill was to swim to Talon. I was not excited about this drill because It was in the deepest end of the pool. But seeing the other girls do it all made me want to do it just to prove I'm not weak. When it was my turn I felt my heart drop. I felt like Talon was drifting farther away every second. Then from behind me I felt a push, it was another  little girl. "Go molly." She yelled at me. She was right I needed to go. With one last breath, I was under water. under I felt submerged but it felt good, I felt good I felt safe. I felt alive. I kicked quickly and and used my arms to push me forward. I could see Talon getting closer and closer . Then suddenly I was there, I grabbed talon. He grabbed me and pulled me up. I instantly felt relief. I had swam by myself for the first time. Then I noticed Talon smiled for the first time today. I wondered why he smiled. I felt myself falling down so I quickly wrapped my legs around him. This made for an awkward situation "Can we go to wall now Talon"  He just continued to smile. He was enjoying this too much for my liking. Then I felt his Hands touch my back. I cringed it felt like a bird clawing me. Then he slowly tried to lower it. "Stop!" I yelled. I tried to push away from him but he grabbed me and wouldn't let me go. "this feels nice, me and you." He whispered. I shook my head. "Let me go or I'll scream, you perv." I scolded. I looked at him not even blinking. He frowned, "Fine, I'll let you go." I sighed. He released his grip. Then he pushed my legs off of him. Then  with these last words,  "Bye molly." He pushed me under the deep water . Then that was it. I was alone trying to float above surface. My head was barely on surface. I could see talon swim far from me leaving me to sink. Before I plunged I tried to scream but I didn't think anyone could hear me. Then I was under water. I couldn't stand up because it was so deep. Every lesson I learned couldn't help me. I just pushed and screamed and water flung in my thoughts by  I held my breath. I instantly was reminded of the time that  I had drowned  last time and how it felt and  how I went towards the light. it was my night mare all over again. I panicked. I couldn't remember how to swim or how to kick or how to breathe. As I sunk deeper I knew It was all over. I closed my eyes and hoped anyone or some one had heard me. That was when I felt someone grab me. But it didn't feel like claws it was someone else. Someone gentle.  I was being pulled to the surface at light speed. Quickly I was back above water. I thought I'd never feel the air on my skin again. I thought I was dying. I wasted no time took deep breaths. Then I opened my eyes. And there he was, the  person that pulled me from under water. I instantly blushed. Whoever he was he wasn't wearing a shirt was all that I could see. He carried me close to his chest. I felt my entire body being lifted up out the water. I could feel those soft hands on my legs and back so soft and strong. Then I looked around again taking in the scene, I was now inside some room. Then I was laid down somewhere. Where ever I was laid  it was  cold and cause me to freak out. I lifted up. Then I saw him, but this time I saw his face. I didn't recognize him. He could be kidnapper. Even though it he appeared to be just a teenage boy probably my age. His hair was a wet an  slick. He had perfect Brown eyes and tons of adorable freckles. I felt my face turn red. He was looking straight at me. If he was a kidnapper he was honestly very attractive. I tried to open my mouth but words didn't come out. I had these bubbles in my stomach, I couldn't explain it just felt very weird. Then I fell to my knees. Damn body don't fail me now. I was weak. His face instantly changed he looked so concerned and worried. "Are you okay?" I nodded but as I did I couldn't even hold my head  up it hung low. Then I felt his soft hand on my back. An electric shock went along through my body. I slid back from him. I tried to breath again. Then out of No where, I see talon run into the room from the opening. He looked pissed. Talon ran towards me. I instantly felt fear but I couldn't move. "Stay away from me !" I screamed with the last of my strength.  I could feel a big presence right in front of me. I kept my eyes closed. I was afraid of Talon, worried he might hurt me. I just wanted to go home and forget everything that happened. It was silent. "Daniel, move, she's my student, my responsibility." Daniel. I opened my eyes and instead of Talon standing there it the boy who helped me from earlier. Daniel must have been his name. That still didn't explain how talon knew his name. "Student, what.." Daniel replied confused. I felt my face turn red. I didn't want people to know I was taking lessons. It was a bit embarrassing. "It's not your business! Molly come with me." Talon groaned. I almost felt a tear fall. I couldn't cope with Talon dropping me in the water knowing my condition. I felt like a big baby. The two guys arguing only made it worse. All this was just circulating eating me alive. I felt my heart starting to beat faster. "She's not going with you." Daniel replied back. " I mean just look at her" he said then turned back to me. His eyes widened, "Oh my God, look at her, Molly what's wrong with you."  Daniel crouched Down next to me. I couldn't stop it from happening though. It was another panic attack. I felt my blood boil. I looked around everything looked hazy. I stared at Talon for a moment and things just got worse My breathing got heavy it hurt to breath and then I started to shake uncontrollably. I looked down at my hands. They were losing color. I looked back up at Talon, his piercing eyes made me feel weak and afraid. "Talon leave you are making her freak out like this." Daniel implied. Talon looked confused. He frowned, "Why don't you leave too." Talon stated to Daniel. Daniel looked at me with those big Brown eyes. "Okay I'll leave, as long as you leave." He began to stand up. I knew  "N-o.." I whimpered. I use  My  last strength to grab his leg. It was  hairy and soft. He looked down then he looked at Talon. Talon looked defeated. "She's so dramatic. I don't care, I'm leaving." Talon angrily stated then he stormed off. Suddenly it was just me and Daniel. I was still holding his leg. He was looking at me confused. I felt my arm get weak and I was about to fall over. Just before I was about to collapse to the ground, I felt the soft hand catch me. The same soft hand that pulled me from the water. I tried to catch my breath. I was breathing to fast but I tried to slow it down. I tried to think about slow steady and complete.  I closed my eyes trying to focus. Then out of no where , "It's ok to be afraid... I'm afraid at times." Daniel said to me. I opened my eye He was  sitting right next  to me. I couldn't understand why he was being so nice to me, because all I caused was pain and trouble for everyone. I looked at his freckles face he was so cheerful looking. I know I just met him but it felt like I could tell him anything. That's when I realized he was right. It's okay to be afraid. I shouldn't always try to hide my fear because I always end up like this. I took some deep breaths and then some more. before  Long I was back to normal. I tried to move but I was so weak it ached. I could feel Daniel hand on my back trying to keep me balanced. "I'm okay." I said shaking my head. I stood up quickly trying to make myself seem strong. Daniel quickly stood up also. I still didn't know much about him except that he was kind and I feel..safe around him. "I'm glad you are okay." He said beginning to look sly and scratch his head. He began to walk away. I felt scared again so I followed him like a lost puppy. I grabbed on his arm and looked around the room. "Where you going?" I asked sounding really clingy. It was just because I wasn't myself right now. He reached down and picked up something then turned around. "I'm just getting you a towel, it's cold In here."He said. Then he wrapped the towel around my shoulders. That's when I realized I was wearing nothing but my swim suit. It made me blush when he touched me as he put the towel on my shoulders. I looked straight and I was staring at his chest it was bare and muscular. I looked up at him, he was looking at me and I could feel vibes between me and him i never felt Before. with out much thought I reached out my hand to touch his chest. I don't know exactly why. I don't know what I was  thinking or doing but it felt right. And then out of no where, "What the hell are you two doing." My first reaction was to move back from Daniel. Because though it felt right, I felt guilty. He must have felt the same because he also moved back. The person who yelled was not as expected Talon it was someone older. I didn't know this person but Daniel must have because he walked up to him. "Daniel, really, your in the boys locker room with a girl and I find out from your brother." The guys looked disgusted with us. I just looked shamefully at the ground .so couldn't look at Daniel because I was  so embarrassed about my current  situation. But then I began to get curious.  I wondered who was his brother I also wondered why he brought me here of all places and then I also wondered how would I be able to leave this place. "Just because you are a life guard doesn't mean you can do stunts like this. Next time you pull a stunt like this.. Your out. Go It?" The man stated. The man obviously was some type of boss of the pool. Then that meant Daniel saved me because it was his job, he wasn't some random pervert.  "Sorry, sir." Daniel said.  Then I heard foot steps out the room and I quickly looked up. The boss left. I looked over at the Daniel he happened to be staring at me. I fondled with my thumbs nervously. "I have lots of questions?" I admitted. Daniel looked away as if I should not had said  that. I couldn't take it back now though. I stepped back feeling silly. He looked up at me and put on this smile that just made me melt. "Well, You know where to find me," he said then with out another word he walked out. I took a sigh. There was  so much to take in. I really had to reconsider this swimming lesson thing.
