the next time y/n stopped by the library, at seven o'clock two days after, she saw him sitting at a table with a book in hand, staring intently at the pages.
as she wandered past, they shared a smile, and after additional observances, she saw that the book he was reading, was the exact as the one she had put the note in two days beforehand.
she proceeded to walk over to her reading list, thinking of the worst, as what would happen if he didn't get the message? or if somebody else did?
y/n ignored her troubles, and after locating the next book on her list, she pulled it out from its place on the shelf and dusted it off in her hands.
she hauled herself over to her spot where she would read every day, a sweet corner of the building with bean bags to sit on, surrounded by novels that had been tossed around the place, the romance section.
she sat down and sank into the beanbag beneath her, opening the first page of her book and a white envelope falling out into her lap.
she held it in her hands and gleamed, side glancing towards the boy who sat across the library, who was looking back at her in awe. she stared back at the pouch and tore it open, trying not to damage the contents.
inside was a neatly folded piece of paper with cursive handwriting filling the page, it seemed that every word made its way into her heart and just one single sentence made her flustered.
she placed the letter back down in her lap and looked up at the boy, he returned her gaze with a vast smile and his eyes gleamed right back at her.
she muttered a few words under her breath, grinning back at him.
yet despite the happiness that she was feeling, now y/n had a dilemma, should she go and talk to him in person or write another letter?
