Matty:

"What if they don't like me? Whatif they think I'm not the right girl for you? WHAT IF THEY THINK IM A CRAZYPSYCHOPATH WHO'S OBSESSED WITH YOU?!?!" You start to list as you pull yourhair out in anxiety. Matt chuckles as he turns the car into a left lane. It wasabout that time in the relationship where you meet Matty's parents for thefirst time at a family dinner. Needless to say, you were nervous as hell, second thoughts and bad scenarios filled your mind urging you to back out ofthe dinner. Suddenly, you felt Matty's warm hand on your knee, softly squeezingyour leg in comfort. He looked up at you and gave you a lopsided smile. Itwarmed your heart and at that instant all your bad thoughts left your mind."Y/N, babe, I'm sure they'll love you. I'm the one who stopped going toschool at 16 and joined a band over studies. If anything, they will always holdthat grudge against me. However you, all nice and preppy in college, havenothing to worry about. They will absolutely fawn over you." The last fewwords that left his mouth were spoken with an exaggerated voice that made theboth of you laugh. "Since when did you learn new vocabulary aside from sexand chocolates?" You asked him with a laugh. He pouted at you beforeturning his attention back to the road, "Well my college girlfriend reallyis rubbing off on me." You smiled up at him at leaned over the seat togive him a quick peck in the cheek. "Thank you Matty." He grinned andquickly looked at you, "for what baby?" You just shook your head insilence and reached for his hand on the console and intertwined your fingerswith his. "For this." --- Soon after, you both arrived at his parent'shouse and had a lovely meal together. Matty was right, because they stilltaunted him over quitting school, but were eager to know that you were in yourlast year of uni, and were dating their son. Just as Matty put it earlier, theyfawned over you the entire time.

Adam:

Adam was attempting to button up his cuffs on the long yellow sleeved shirt that his mother had sent for him for his birthday on tour a few months ago, which he never truly wore until now. You walked into the bedroom and watched him struggle for a few minutes before finally having enough of his torture and went to help him out. "You wearing your mum's shirt to impress your own mother?" You giggled as you took his wrists and began to button the cuffs for him. He sighed in annoyance before rolling his eyes at you. "Am not, I really love this color and the fact that my own mother picked it for me doesn't mean that I can't decide to wear it the same day that I'm meeting up with my parents again." He explained before walking off and putting his shoes on. "Now c'mon lets go, don't want the parents waiting for their baby boy." He took his jacket off the hanger and opened the door to leave. "Hey are you not forgetting the whole point of this dinner Hann?" You inquired, crossing your arms across your chest and raising an eyebrow at him. He slowly backed up away from the door and came back into your view again. He gave you a wide grin and ran to kiss you. "Well of course, I would never forget Pepper! Thanks babe!" He ran behind you and seconds later came back with Pepper, the new addition to the family, your dog. You slapped his arm and watched him groan. He dropped Pepper back on the floor and enveloped you in a tight hug before kissing you. "I would never forget about you Y/N. I was just playing. Now seriously lets get in the car, we're already late." ------ His hand never left your hand until you arrived right in front of the table that his parents were sitting at. The restaurant was quite luxurious, so it was no surprise his parents were dressed in formal attire. "Mum, dad, I'd like you to meet Y/N, my girlfriend." Right after the introductions were made, you all sat and began conversation over Adam's yellow shirt. "It is without a doubt to say that the shirt you're wearing is hideous Adam. Who would give you such a thing" His father commented and you all began to laugh except for his mother.

George:

His hands were drumming against the steering wheel to no song in particular, George just seemed out of it. "It looks like you're more nervous to meet your parents than I am," you confessed, waiting for George to respond. "Hm, what? Sorry babe, was thinking. Can you repeat that again?" He quickly spoke glancing at your direction for a few seconds. "Yeah, I was just joking saying that you're a lot more distressed over seeing your parents again than I am meeting them." You lightly chuckled, hoping to ease the awkward tension in the car. "Oh, yeah it's nothing, just that I'm a bit scared you know?" He spoke uneasily giving you a tight smile. "George, is there something wrong? Is it me? Are you afraid of them meeting me? I...I'm sorry if its because of that. If you want you can just turn the car and drive me home, it's okay." You felt your heart ache and a bit of disappointment. Was he ashamed of you? 'No he possibly couldn't be' you hoped. But your head was debating that maybe he was. "What?!? Are you insinuating that I'm ashamed of you?" He shook his head and you catch the look on his face which is a bit sad. He parks the car on a random street and turns off the engine before shifting to see you clearly He takes your small hands in his own and starts to speak, not breaking eye contact with your own eyes. "I will never. Ever. Be fucking ashamed of you. If anything, you should be ashamed of me. But that's not what's been troubling me baby, it's not you." He breaks gaze with you and instead looks at your intertwined hands. "It's my parents Y/N, they aren't the most pleased people, especially when it comes to my history of...girlfriends." He drifts off, not being able to face you in the eye. You bring his chin up with one of your hands and give him a comforting kiss. "That's what's been bugging you? George..."you sigh, "don't worry about that. I'm not sure if that's supposed to scare me away, but let me tell you something. Although it would be nice for your parents to like me, I'm not going to leave you if they don't. I'm here for you. Just you." A smile breaks on his face before he pulls you in for a kiss this time. "God, I love you much Y/N" ----- His parents we're in fact surprised at your arrival. They didn't expect you two to actually come since the past meeting with George's girlfriends weren't the best. However, things went different this time, his parents apologized to George for their lack of support when it came to his relationships. George reluctantly forgave them with your help, and his parents awed at how you affected George in a way that no other past girlfriend did. They saw it, they finally saw what they had never seen in George's eyes, they saw love for one person, you.

Ross:

You were a pro at double tasking so usually it would be a surprise for you to be late to an event. However, throughout the whole day you we're stressing over the idea of meeting your boyfriend's parents, so you decided to take a nap in hopes of relieving the anxiety. But when you woke up to Ross' voice outside the door of your room, you realized something was off. Turning on your side, you check the clock on your bedside table and yell in alarm. "Jesus Christ! Ross!!!" You jump out of bed and make your way to the bathroom to freshen up. A worried Ross rushes in and walks into the bathroom to see you brushing your teeth and fixing your hair. "Y/N what the hell was all the screaming about?" He asks dumbfounded. You rinse your mouth out and give him 'the look.' "Ross MacDonald are you insane!!! We we're supposed to meet your parents half an hour ago for dinner. Oh my god, do you know how terrible this is! This is the worst first impression ever. They must think I'm a lazy slob who wants to stay in bed all day & never leave the house. I'm a horrible girlfriend." You walk out of the bathroom and sit on the side of the bed looking anywhere but at Ross' face. You're sure he's disappointed with you. He always talks about how excited he is for you to meet his parents, and now when the opportunity comes, you blow it. You feel the bed shift, and look up to see Ross smiling down at you. "You know I love you right," he says as he moves a strand of hair away from your face. "Enough of the sap, Ross. I really do feel like shit. I'm so sorry." You repeat, knowing that your apology won't change anything. "You know I cancelled the plans with my parents an hour ago. I knew how worried you were about the whole situation. Last night you barely got any sleep so I decided to let you sleep some more. Plus Y/N if you were so nervous you could have told me, I can always reschedule a dinner. My parents are always begging to finally meet you. So I'm sure they would understand you having cold feet." He wraps his arms around you and stays hugging for what seems like eternity until you finally speak up. "They raised a good kid," you whisper.
