Before you even realized it, the clock struck 12 and you still weren't ready! You spent so much time worrying about what you were going to wear that you ran out of time! You had to hurry and find something fast, but nothing seemed good enough...
You finally settled on a short pastel pink dress and some white sandals. Surly Jungkook would like it...
Your confidence was put on blast when Jungkook arrived at your door, his words getting caught in his throat when he looked at you. He bit his lip and looked down, trying not to stare for too long.
"Hey, Kookie," you smiled, taking in his appearance as he tried to recover from his blushing. He was wearing a button up white shirt, a pair of black cargo shorts, and his hair was slicked back on one side. He looked nice, and you weren't afraid to admit that. "You look really nice. Like... really nice."
Jungkook softly laughed, his hand running through his loose hair, "Thanks, Cinnabon. You look really good, yourself. I love that dress on you."
You daringly grabbed Jungkook's hands, pulling him closer to you. His blush darkened, and you found it impossibly endearing. He was too cute for his own good.
"Well, we should make this date count for something, right?" You nodded, not failing to notice how entranced Jungkook was looking at you, "After all, it's the last time I'll get to see you until next Sunday at the earliest."
Jungkook nodded dumbly, his soft smile being burned into your memory. "Let's go, then."
...
A nice lunch later, the two of you ended up walking around the park with a couple of frozen yogurts. You had gotten a strawberry flavor while Jungkook insisted that Pineapple was better. You were slowly starting to agree with him as he took his spoon and forced you to try a bite.
"You know," you started, looking down at your melting frozen yogurt, "This might be the best date I've been on."
Jungkook had a proud smile on his face, "Really now?"
"Yeah," you nodded, "I didn't intend to inflate your ego so much, but I really have enjoyed today. The only thing that could make it better would be if you sang for me."
Jungkook laughed, shaking his head, "I can't just sing on command like that anymore. It stresses me out, Cinnabon."
You took another bite of your frozen treat, "I know. I can only dream to hear you sing live one day."
"I'll do it one day, I swear," he nodded, finishing off his frozen yogurt and throwing it away in the trash can you two just happened to be walking past. "I just need to get up the nerve to actually do it."
You just nodded, the smile never leaving your face. Something about him being next to you just made your heart happy. He was like a never ending source of positive energy, and you loved it. You could get used to this...
Soon enough, you wrapped up your walk and started to head back to his car. It was only 4:00 in the afternoon, and you really didn't want to say goodbye to him.
"Do you want me to take you back home?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow, but you were quick to shake your head.
"You said that this is our last day together for at least a week, right? Unless you want to get rid of me, I'm not ready to go home, yet..."
