Me: oh! Yeah, I'm Y/N!

Me: nice to... "meet" you

Namjoon: Jungkook just gave me your number

Namjoon: You read my book?

Me: Yeah! It was really good!

Me: would you mind signing a copy? Serious question

Me: if Jungkook's all weird about us meeting up then I can just give him my copy for you to sign or something!

Namjoon: you want me to sign a copy?

Me: I mean, if you don't mind...

Namjoon: not at all! I'm just surprised

Namjoon: my friends all just make fun of the book, so it's weird to talk to someone who enjoyed it.

Me: they're just jealous!

Me: Jungkook admitted that he never read it and I'm ashamed. You said a lot of nice things about him and he should be grateful

Namjoon: that's just how he is! Their teasing doesn't bother me, don't worry.

Me: good! Can't say anything for the rest of your friends, but Jungkook cares a lot about you despite what he might say

Me: he got me all emotional last night

Namjoon: he did? I guess you were the reason he suddenly rushed off to his room last night

Me: guilty

Namjoon: but I know he cares. He's not exactly subtle

Namjoon: but he will play it off as if he's good at hiding his feelings

Me: really? He hasn't really tried hide anything from me as far as I know. He wears his heart on his sleeve.

Me: he's been pretty blunt and honest with me

Namjoon: wow

Namjoon: Jungkook being blunt toward a girl? I know you two met under weird circumstances, but I still find that hard to believe

Me: so it is true about him being awkward around girls? I thought that he might be lying to me lol

Namjoon: nope, he was telling the truth

Namjoon: if you meet Jungkook in person, you'll see what I mean

Me: haha, I've already met him in person!

Me: He was perfectly fine when I met him. I never would have guessed that he was awkward

Namjoon: wow, that's really hard for me to believe

Namjoon: it's times like this when I need to realize that Jungkook isn't the kid I used to know

Me: do you two have a big age difference?

Namjoon: only 3 years

Namjoon: but Jungkook is the youngest out of all our friends. We all baby him all the time because of it.

Me: awww

Me: I didn't realize he was the youngest. Are you the oldest?

Namjoon: no
