Chapter 22 :

Brookes POV

Girl I am so sorry I thought he left with Alex, if I had known that he didnt leave I would have taken you home and then came back latter or in the morning... Are you ok? (Brooke)

Yeah I just feel so bad he told me that when Hailey died that not only did he lose the love of his life but he lost his best friend.... I see the way he looks at me he even feels that Hailey isnt dead... (Jay)

Yeah well what did you tell him about your self... (Brooke)

I told him that I had lived with my boyfriend and his father in Texas and that there were some bad people after me and that you said I could come down here with you so I could start a new life and be safe and I told him that I left because I didnt want his family to get hurt.... (Jay)

Oh ok well we are here this is are new home.... (Brooke)

OMG Brooke is so pretty I cant believe that this is where we are going to be living.... Brooke thank you so much for giving me a chance to start over and keeping me safe... I know we havent known each other that long but you are like a sister to me.... (Jay)

Girl I knew we was ganna be close when we first met and I am sure that you think I am mad because you hurt my brother but I am not you are keeping him safe... (Brooke)

I was really worried when I asked you to help me that you were going to hate me... (Jay)

Yeah well everyone has a past and not everyones past is pretty I know for sure that mines not... (Brooke)

You past cant be as bad as mine... I have a whole gang looking for me because I fucked them over... (Jay)

Would you be mad if I asked you how you fucked them over?? (Brooke)

No it would be kinda nice to talk to somone about it... (Jay)

You mean you never told Zach about what happend?? (Brooke)

No I was scared that he wouldnt want anything to do with me if I told him the truth...  (Jay)

Ok well lets go inside I will help you unpack and you can tell me all about it.... (Brooke)

Jays POV

We walked into the house and I went and found the door that had a posted note with my name on it it was perfect this whole house was perfect there is a game room with every game you can think of a movie room, swimming pool.. Basketball court, a gym, let me just say again this house is perfect.... I still cant believe I am about to tell someone about my past..... But here goes nothing I hope Brooke doesnt think bad of me...

Ok so tell me what happend.... (Brooke)

Ok so I was 12 when I started hangin out with my older brother Treys friends... They were into the gang shit really bad they were always trying to move out in the game... My brother showed me how to use a gun when I was 9 years old I watched my brother kill someone when I was 8 right in front of me by the time I turned 13 I was messing around with one of my brothers friends he was 15 my brother wasnt to happy about it but then he thought about it and if I was hangin with this other kid then I wouldnt be up his ass anymore.... But as I was hangin out with this kid we got into some trouble he started telling another gang things and then went and told my brother I was the one telling the other gang it got back to my brothers boss and the boss wanted me taken out but my brother jumped in front of a bullet to save me I watched my brother die right in front of me and there was nothing I could do to save him... The last words out of his mouth were "TO RUN AND NEVER LOOK BACK" little did I know that the other gang the kid had been talking to was Zachs.... Zach found me right after my brother died I was covered from head to toe in blood.... Zach took me in and never asked me what happend... We fell in love but once my brothers boss heard that I didnt die he put a price tag on my head.... Zach kept me safe for about 4 years but a few months ago I started getting text messages from my brothers old boss saying he knew where I was and that I needed to watch my back and if I told anyone that he would kill everyone I loved ...... So I had to get away I had to fake my death I had to break the one persons heart that I never wanted to he is the love of my life the father of my child my best friend.... Yeah I know that he would have died to keep me safe but I couldnt let him do that.... (Jay)

Once I got done telling Brooke the door opened and there he stood...

Who is standing at the door and what did the hear?? Brooke now is not the only one who knows the truth about Jays past.... Will Hailey be able to use her own name again? How will she explain what she told Brooke to the person at the door.... Keep reading to find out....
