It was a temporary madness that signaled at Caterina, as she realized how easily the concept of loving someone could make her feel so vulnerable. she had a hunger for fixing broken things, especially those who walked so aimlessly around knowing they were in fact so.
she had fallen for an icarus. he was so intoxicated by the spirit of the flight that he went higher and higher. he was ignorance, and he was reckless.
after his youth of pure misery and solitude, the misery took ahold of the boy, and would not let go. he was bound to her with strong attachment, fearing as if losing her would be worse than any other pain his young self would ever come about.
