Alfie's POV
" Oh your boyfriend is Finn? "
"Yeah, but we've only been together for a few months now..."
"Cool." I replied trying to hide the frustrated tone in my voice.
" So who do you hang out with Alfie?"
" Oh yeah. Sorry, I usually hang out with Marcus, Jim and Joe."
"Oh you hangout with Joe? I didn't know that!"
"How come?" I replied inquisitively.
"I had a friend called Gabby, and she was hanging round at mine, we had ordered pizza and when it arrived I had to go get the pizza from the man and pay him, as soon as I returned neither Joe or Gabby were there and a note was lying on the table that said " Gone on a date in a secret place, see you soon! Joe and Gab Xx" In the end I rang Joe and told him that I was moving out, then called Gabby and told her we're not friends anymore. "
"Wow ! " I exclaimed why would they do that?"
"I literally have no idea."
The conversation continued on and ended with a laughing fit.
"See you round , Zo?"
"Sure Alf!"
"Wait , can I have your number and Skype to contact you on?" This was awkward.
"Sure Alf!" As she jotted it down I was speechless, she didn't even hesitate! She handed me the paper and asked for mine I did the same and gave it to her. The ombré haired girl than waved goodbye and exited. I wouldn't even in a million years forget her. I then opened up then piece of paper and copied the number from the page to my phone and realised that she added a little "X" on the page.
I'm really into writing this fic now! Love y'all 😘
