For four nights (Y/n)'s boat sailed along the sea, guided by Loki's magic to her destination, untouched by any of Thor's storms. And on the fifth morning the boat had reached its destination, floating along the bank just outside of the boat builders home, being spotted not long after. "Floki there is a boat outside." Helga called into the house, having stopped dead in her tracks in the doorway. "Well of course there is a boat outside I am a boat builder." Floki teased as he approached Helga. "This isn't one of your boats." Helga pointed to the extravagant boat floating in the water, much of it was engraved with gold, and intricate designs carved along its body, with the most glamours shields Floki or Helga had ever seen decorating it. "That's odd?" Floki muttered with a tilt of his head, nearly jumping out of his skin when a small child popped up from in the boat. It was a little girl, and her hair was an absolute mess, suggesting she was the only one on the boat, and that she had probably just woken up. "Floki its a child!" Helga stated the obvious in a panic before running to the boat, with Floki hot on her heels. Running into the shallow water Helga made her way straight to the child's side, who stood there watching in confusion as to why they seemed so worried. "Oh sweet girl are you hurt?" Helga cooed in her motherly tone, reaching out to the girl. "No." She shook her head clutching her necklace, only approaching Helga when the wind whispered that it was okay.

Floki made quick work of pulling the boat ashore, while Helga fretted over the child. "What is your name little one?" Helga asked as she tucked a strand of the girls unruly hair behind her ear. "(Y/n)." She murmured softly looking up to Floki as he approached. "What a strange name?" Floki mused before crouching down to her level, beside Helga who was now sitting in the sand. "And what are you doing on this boat all alone (Y/n)?" Floki asked. "Mischief put me on the boat, he said it would take me to a safe place, and that I would be safe with the boat builder." Her words stunned both Helga and Floki. "And where did Mischief get this boat?" Floki asked after getting over his initial shock. "The old man with one eye gave it to me, he told me if something bad ever happened, I should get into the boat and sail out to sea, and his sons would find me, and protect me." Helga and Floki were stunned beyond belief at (Y/n)'s tale. "Who are his sons?" Helga asked. "One was real big with an odd hammer tied to his belt, and the other was the one that gave the old man the boat to give to me." Confused as to why they were so stunned. "Hringhorni." Floki muttered as he looked to the boat. "Floki the gods brought us this child, they want us to care for this precious little child." Helga gushed in excitement, while Floki flopped down onto his butt in the sand.

Later that day Floki hid the boat in a cave just a little ways down the beach, where he would later make the cave into a proper boat house. Keeping Hringhorni safe for if the need of it ever arouse, or if the God Balder ever came looking for it himself. While Helga bathed and fed the child, nurturing her as if she where her own. And while (Y/n) ate some bread, Helga brushed out her hair, braiding it as she went. "How old are you (Y/n)?" Helga asked as she worked. "Five." The little girl replied before swallowing her bread. "And where are your parents?" Helga asked, a little worried when (Y/n) sat quietly for a minute. "They went away, and then Mischief brought me here." (Y/n) wasn't sure what was going on exactly, but she trusted Mischief with all her little heart. "And who is Mischief?" Helga asked, even though she was sure she knew the answer. "Hes my silly friend, with hair like fire, and small scars dotting around his lips." The girl took another bite of her bread. "He never told me his name, but he promised to tell me his name on my wedding day." She hummed happily as she ate, while Helga worked now deep in thought.

Later that night while Floki and Helga lay in bed, they watched as (Y/n) slept on the other side of the little home, bundled up in many furs and snoring softly. "We must raise her as our own, it is the Gods will. Odin Thor Balder and Loki all brought her to us, and we cannot refuse such a gift." Helga murmured softly as she lay against Floki's chest. "I agree." Floki muttered despite the fact that he was terrified of raising a child, but if the Gods thought him worthy, then he would prove them right, and raise the girl to always praise them. "I love you Floki the boat builder." Helga smiled before pecking his lips softly. "And I love you Helga." He smiled down at her.
