Notes: Beslan is where he met Maxim "Kapkan" Basuda and managed to get him to join Spetsnaz and later Alpha Group after seeing him in combat during the Beslan siege. Rumor has it, that he had a personal relationship with an FSB operative during his years in Alpha Group, it was never confirmed and he always attempts to avoid the subject. Whenever possible at least. Was unable to walk until 2009 due to being shot in the lower spine in 2005 during the FSB incident. He was able to relearn how to walk again.
Footage of the incident from a security camera: A women walks into an office of a top FSB agent on the 5th floor. She proceeds to pull out a firearm and takes him hostage. Bale was across the building and was sent in with Kapkan. Bale and the women exchanged fire in the hallway, but she died due to Bale. After scouting the room and clearing the rest of the floor the two attempt to breach from the hallway.
Bale: Put the gun down now!
Women: No! *Fires 7 rounds at Bale and one hits his lower spinal cord*
Bale: AGHHH! *Falls into a side door into another office on the side and is now grunting* FUCKER! *Fires 27 rounds from his AKM back at her*
Women: *Fires 9 more shots off*
Kapkan: Put it down! We'll kill you! *Fires a 10 rounds into the room*
Women: I hate him! He broke up with me! *Sobbing*
Kapkan: SO?!
Women: He never loved me! It was all an act!
FSB agent: I was trying to help you through your depression! Best I possibly could!
Women: You shut your mouth you little shit! *Fires a bullet into his chest*
FSB agent: *Gasping for air*
Women: You earned it you- *Gets a headshot from Bale*
Kapkan: She's dead! Go in you medics! Bale! You okay?!
Bale: I've got a fucking hole the size of a fucking gold ball in lower spine! No I'm not fine! AGH! Get me to the fucking hospital or something! *Gets rushed to the hospital*
