Chapter 16

The next day Y/n wakes up by himself and sees Jäger walking into the room with a backpack. 

Jäger: You good Y/n? 

Y/n: I'm fine, just pretty bruised. *Groans*

Jäger: That was pretty funny watching you two skinny guys getting rag dolled. *Laughs* 

Y/n: Where'd Lera go? 

Jäger: She said she had to do something in R&D with Mira, Twitch, and Thermite. This was at 4 in the morning... it's now 4 pm. 

Y/n: Okay, wait a minute I was knocked out from the fight for that long?

Jäger: It was pretty bad, Doc put you on some morphine to get rid of the pain, but due to your weight, and some hits to your nerves, your sheer laziness, and lack of care maybe, it was a good rest for you. Plus, Zofia and Ela are kind of angry at each other. 

Y/n: Why? 

Jäger: Harry got them called to his new office and they had a pretty bad argument with each other. 

Y/n: How loud did they yell?

Jäger: Not too loudly, maybe mildly annoyed. But, said apparently some emotion filled shit against each other. Something about you and your mother in Polish.

Y/n: Oh god, oh fuck.

Jäger: What? 

Y/n: Did anyone know what it was? 

Jäger: Nobody here except maybe Dominic (Bandit) since he is the only one who knows Polish fluently. He was on a drug bust against a dealer for the LSLA at the time however. 

Y/n: Thank god, it's really personal. 

Jäger: How's Ela? 

Y/n: Huh? 

Jäger: I kind of had a crush on Ela for quite a while now. And I want to date her. Is it okay with you?

Y/n: It would, since your a nice guy and good person overall, but she's dating someone else here. 

Jäger: Oh, who? 

Y/n: I can't really say since he'd get his friends to beat me up, maybe you too. And he's on Team Rainbow, so that's a no go.

Jäger: Zat's fine, I just wanted to give her this. 

Jäger reveals a box of chocolates and two flowers from his backpack with a love letter folded up too.

Y/n: That's pretty adorable, I think she would accept such an offer if she was single. 

Jäger: I kind of always liked Megan (Valkyrie) too. 

Y/n: Try giving that to her, just edit out the parts with my sister's name and all. Or rewrite one if you want to.

Jäger: I will, thanks. Also, nice job on getting Lera, she's really happy now with you. 

Y/n: Really? 

Jäger: Ja, in private she always talked good things about you if you were brought up. A personnel interest she holds dear indeed. Other than that, she's gotten to have an issue with Zofia.

Y/n: Why? 

Jäger: Um, I think you'd have to ask her, I tried it with Zofia, and I got my gut punched in.  Bye bye.

Y/n: Okay, later. Thanks for the telling of whatever happened. 

Jäger: Any time my guy. Bye..

Jäger leaves. And Y/n tries to get up, and succeeds and sees his clothes from yesterday sitting on a nightstand next to his bed. Btw, he was in a hospital gown when talking with Jäger. Now he changes and looks at himself through a portable mirror on a desk.
