How Does Love Work? (Ushijima x Tendou♡)

The Beginning

It was a normal day, at the school of Shiratorizawa Academy. All of the students hanging out with their friends, in the halls, of the school. Others, just going into their classrooms, for the peace and quiet. For Ushijima it was an extra normal day, meaning he just had volleyball practice.

He silently walked through the halls, of the school, hearing the whispers of the other students. It was very normal to be talked about, but it seemed like a lot more whispers? His eyes widened, realizing, Tendou was behind him.

"Hmm.. I knew it." Ushijima said, in his awfully quiet voice, as he rubbed at his eye.

"Ah! I was caught by the best volleyball player, Wakatoshi-kun!!' Tendou said in his very excited voice.

"I'm not the best volleyball player.. I'm still not at my full potential.." Ushijima replied back, as he stood beside Tendou. As they both walked beside each other.

"Just take the compliment, but.... I'M I GOOD MIDDLE BLOCKER?!!!!" he asked, in a very loud voice. Ushijima knew the whole school could hear it.

The ace stayed quiet, as he kept walking. Not replying to Tendou's question.

"My hopes and dreams have now been crushed.." The middle blocker said, in a dramatically defeated voice.

"Hmmm.. you are okay, get better." Ushijima quickly replied when he felt bad, for ignoring the slightly shorter male.

"That's a good enough compliment!" Tendou expressed, a laugh escaping his mouth.

The two made it to the large gym, the volleyball team played in. Ushijima placed his school bag, at the entrance, of the gym doors. He grabbed his volleyball outfit, from his gym bag.. as he left to change, as the rest of the team members did the same.

Ushijima made it back to the gym, noticing he was the only one in the gym.

"hmm, I guess I'm earl-'" before he could finish that sentence, Tendou entered the gym slapping Ushijima's ass.

"Aww.. were you waiting for me? Thank you sweets." Tendou said, a smirk on his lips. Ushijima noticed, the other, was trying to hold in a laugh.

The tall male was slightly glaring, at Tendou, a soft blush spreading across his face, as he quickly looked away. Tendou blinked a couple of times, when he noticed Ushijima blush. He rose, an eyebrow, as he smirked even more.

"Wow, Ushijima does blush.." He explained, as he patted Ushijima's head.

"You look like a mad kitten.." Tendou snickered, as the others started to enter the gym.

"Come on guys!! You are blocking the way!!" Goshiki yelled, as he pushed path the two taller males. Ushijima moved away and followed after Goshiki.

Tendou rolled his eyes, as he looked over at Ohira, "Hey."

"Um.. sup?" Ohira spoke, as he laughed.. "Come on Tendou the coach will get mad, if he sees you at the entrance like that!!" Ohira yelled, as he ran after Goshiki, Ushijima, and the rest of the players.

After a painful, exhausting, practice.. they were finally free, of the hell hole.

Ushijima got ready to leave, when he heard someone still practicing. He tilted his head slightly, as he walked back inside the gym.

"Ah!! I have been caught again!" Tendou said, as he threw the volleyball in the air.

"Hmm.. I will watch, as you practice.. since I don't trust you by yourself." Ushijima softly explained, as he sat down, close to the wall.

"Fine. Watch closely!~" Tendou exclaimed, winking at the other.

"Okieee.." Ushijima said in a awfully cute voice, to try to be funny.

Tendou shook his head, as he felt too ashamed to have such a, unfunny friend. Ushijima watched for a while, when the tall male fell asleep laying his head on his gym bag. When Tendou was finally done, with practice.. he was surprised to see Ushijima asleep.

"Hmm.. cute." Tendou said quietly, to not wake up the other. He quickly picked up Ushijima, as he walked out of the gym room.
